I think I've gotten slightly addicted to Destiny 2.

 

Work was awesome today. The Company Commander sent me over to another base to meet with our former S2 about a program. Then told me to go home after I do so. As we approach training, I am not taking these easy days for granted.

Our dog walker took the little guy out on their longest walk yet. Apparently they stopped at a dog park, and stopped for a pup cup in Arlington.

Since I got home, he greeted me, showed me a toy, immediately then fell asleep and is STILL asleep on the floor.

So lay down on the floor with him.

 

Pup cups are his favorite. Like ice cream for dogs- just in small amounts.

Just did for a second. He woke up and gave me the "what do you want" look. I think me typing on the computer is annoying him. He's now moved to underneath the dining room table.

 

My cats will get leftovers from a dish of ice cream, or a special 'milk' that has most of the lactose removed. Cats and lactose make for a really rude litter box, so I keep it at a minimum.

I occasionally cuddle up with the cats on the floor, put my ear on them to hear the gentle rumbling purr that tells me they are content. Of course, I need a hoist to get back up.

 

I gave my Nicky a cookie last weekend and the whole neighborhood had to pay for it when he ran outside...

 

As tempted as we are to give our furry friends people food, other than meat, their digestive tracts aren't built to handle it. I laugh when I see cans of cat food with 'vegetables for a balanced diet'. Umm, folks, cats eat 'vegetables' when their stomach is upset so they can barf it up..... just sayin'.....

 

Yea it was a bad idea on my part. Won't do that again. He's wide awake now and in a really playful mood. Jumping from couch to couch and zooming around the upstairs. I leave the window blinds facing to the back yard open so he can people watch (and squirrel watch). He gets pumped when he sees someone and has to run downstairs to tell me about it.

 

Philisophy has been on my mind lately.. Eternity can 'never" happen because it has no ending.. Or we are in Eternity Now

You can also tell your location on the globe by time.. angles are also measured in seconds and minutes..

I am int the cheer up there is no hope mode

 

I put LED bulbs in my shed to save money . It was cool the other day and I went into the shed and turned on the light. I could feel the heat from the light and felt warmer. LED bulbs give very little heat. I wonder how that works?

Made some really great shrimp and cheese burritos with flour tortillas yesterday.

Three of them lasted all night on my graveyard shift.

They were really good hot or cold.

 

Same with my cat.

He loves looking out the window when I am not there.

It is his connection with the outside and dangerous world.

He knows when I come home I will let him out and escort him to the pumpkin patch across the road. So he always looks forward to it. Meanwhile he darts around the apartment.

 

My cat loves people-tuna. Even better than cat-food tuna.

 

Stay in line combat companies for as long as you can.

S-1, 2, etc. are mostly dead end jobs.

 

Year ends are when you can get the best deals.

But right, then you have to garage them for the winter.

 

Your dogs of war are not supposed to fisticuff each other.

They are supposed to be on the same team.

I definitely would NOT let this go. It warrants some kind of punishment or else you will be viewed as an overly permissive soft soap officer.

 

On my way to get some sashimi and tempura tonight.

Today is my only day off.
