QUOTE="daisydotell, post: 1070102705, member: 15639"]Real shiplap is like wooden gold.[/QUOTE]
I consider shiplap a rabbit half the thickness of the material on all four sides so they lap each other 1/2 an inch on all four sides. You cut one side...flip the board over and cut the other side. Then cut one end...flip it over and cut the other end. At least that is how I make it. Today I took out a bunch of 1x6 t&g ceiling. To me that is pure gold. It will make a good wall, wainscott , ceiling, or floor. I also saw a door at Home Depot made of knotty pine for over 600 dollars. I am thinking about making one out of 1x4 t&g heart pine...maybe get some old hardware....

A bit of advice.... insulting people doesn't make for a friendly environment. You can be (when comprehensible) a bit acerbic in yer posts.

Paul Revere & the Raiders.I have one and only one L.P
from this 60's iconic group.I got it at a thrift shop and cleaned it
up as good as possible.Virtually every song is good to great.
I used to watch their TV show { Paul Revere and his Band } had a
version of what Dick Clark had { American Bandstand } only
it was outside in California somewhere.
I think the group has no label to support any record or CD sales.
The L.P. I have is a Greatest Hits on the Columbia label manufactured
in New York city at W. 52nd street.
Columbia is one of the best labels I've found.I think most all
Bob Dylan stuff is on Columbia.
songs to live by from Paul Revere & the Raiders are :
    Hungry
    Just Like Me
    Louie,Louie
    Good Thing
    Steppin' Out

No controversy over the lyrics of the Raiders' version of Louie, Louie - hence a flop.
    I like the Raiders.

I would gladly make you all some pizzelles!

If I ever come to Texas, Ill bring my pizzelle machine and Ill make pizzelles while you stir the gravy.

When I was a kid my grandma had an old pizzelle iron that made one pizzelle at a time. She heated it over the gas stove. I put the powered sugar on them. My machine is high tech. Its electric and does two at a time. lol

I have collected cookie recipes since I was a little kid. All those old Italian women who were some excellent bakers wrote down their recipes for the cookies I liked. I put them all in a photo album book. The old ladies are all gone now but the recipes live on.

Not the best version of - Louie,Louie - but good enough.
Those songs I mentioned are special. You aren't gonna hear anything
quite like them from any group. It was that Raiders sound.Plus that
original singing from Paul.I remember they were big on Vox Amplifiers.
Could be a California thing.Because Vox was also showcased on the
dopey { tried to act like little Hippies } TV show - The Partridge Family -.
Whose music was about as unappealing as it gets.
I like drivin' Music.Meaning Music with a solid beat and plenty of
Rhythm and Kick.Which is why - The Rolling Stones - is my preferred
    band.I also like Bob Dylan.
Jazz, but it's gotta be the right kind of Jazz. With a Piano.
Big Bands like Woody Herman and 50's Duke Ellington and
    Dizzie Gillespie.Artists like Bill Evans.
I am trying to locate a Trio { Don Shirley }.I really admire his
piano playing.I have 2 of his L.P.'s I got at a Thrift shop and
I prize them. But some artists just were't popular enough to have
put out many albums.Unlike say Miles Davis which the market is flooded with.
Davis is good, but mostly on the same old side.
Same with Jimmy Hendricks. Most all his stuff has become jaded.
I have little interest in it.I used to.But for some reason it became jaded.
I do have a nice early Hendricks L.P. titled ...
    - You Can't Use My Name - { The RCVP/PPX Sessions }
with Curtis Knight & the Squires.
