    Inherited my Dad's when he passed back in 1995. Along with a bench vice and a few other tools and saws. They don't make them like they used to.

    Another 9/11 tribute in our lobby. Hard to imagine all these innocent people lost their lives that day. Sobering reminder. :(

    I Think - Crownline - would make a good name for a
    Canadian Whisky { as in Canadian whisky } distributor.
    Years ago when I worked { started as a Dispatcher } at My
    Grandmother's Trucking company I was in charge of delievering to
    the Shippers their Christmas gifts at their door.It was either
    Canadian Club or Black Velvet.

    I like a natural wood look and linseed oil brings life although it does make the wood a little darker. But it goes on so easy and doesn't show brushmarks. And you can varnish over it. Going to build a new storage building soon and may try to raise some money by selling there.

    I don't know what the difference was this year. Remembering all of this got me more ticked off than it has in the past. Maybe it's because people are forgetting. I didn't have to work, so I did home maintenance most of the day. I guess it's good that I didn't have to be around people.

    There is an entire generation of young adults now who have no idea what it's like to see something like that happen. They are disassociated from it, it's in the history books, but it's likely not 'real' for them.

    The sound is nice but you are asking a person that donated a lot of his hearing to the US Army and tanks. The sound doesn’t rely on your eardrums. You half hear it and half feel it... if that makes sense.

    Wagon hit a rough stretch of road today, busted a wheel and I fell off. Luckily it was right in front of this seedy looking joint run by a Texas woman of uncertain vintage. So if it’s allright with y’all, I’m going to finish off this six pack.
    I’ll do my best to behave but I’m not promising much.

    Yeah, that's starting here in Oregon too. Beautiful today, but we had thunder and some torrential rain the past couple of days.

    It's not their fault though. Probably the same as the disassociation between the WW2 generation and the baby boomers when they think of Pearl Harbor.
