What are the forms made of? We usually used 3/4 plywood and snap ties. Cement wall I reckon.

 

These are high class forms, I guess. They're coated plywood and a measured 1 3/16" thick.

I have worked with all kinds. They do have different systems. Most .... all.... had a tie that ran through a hole in the form and clamped ..... Then a 2x4 running lengthwise . The clamps holding in the 2x . The plywood was oiled or treated to keep it from sticking to the cement.

 

Maybe they're bunkers.

My wife informed me that she wants a “she shed”, what ever the hell that is.
I would flat throw myself on a hand grenade for that woman so a shed sounds like a piece of cake. 12X12 and drag-able and trailerable so it will need to be on skids. Problem is I will have to do it on one of my long weekends when I fly home. I’m going to cheat and have her gather all of the material and have it on site for me. I can bang out construction pretty quick, but having to drop the nail bags and go to the hardware store just kills any hopes of production. I’m thinking of posting real time pictures here just to heap peer pressure on myself. I do better under pressure. Won’t be the August trip, it will probably happen in September.

try This is how the stain turned out after the oil. A look at the side. Gonna move and replace the lifting handles....lower on box... And bigger. Gonna add a Lions head with ring to lift top.... and a closer for safety... This thing is heavy.
