    Grocery shopping is done. No tree or gift exchange this year, but plenty of holiday food. Even broke down and bought myself a Christmas bouquet. Think I'm finally feeling better. :)

    I make this drink that is similar to eggnog but no eggs. The drink is very rich and not for the people who have to worry about weight.

    Standing rib roast, potatoes, tossed salad, baby green lima beans, french bread, asparagus and fruit salad. The fruit salad is a family tradition that started with my Mother. I am hassling right along.
    Your stuffed jalapeños sound wonderful as does your whole menu.

    Right now, I'm not remembering holiday dinners from my mom. I can remember "pigs in a blanket". Those were cabbage leaves stuffed with rice and ground meat and a tomato sauce over them.

    I remember the holiday dinners at my late oldest sister's house. They consisted of the traditional turkey, ham, and sides. She always threatened to make 15 pounds of stuffing molded into the shape of a turkey.

    I have about a half-pound of deli-made stuffing heating in the microwave right now. It smells good. I hope it's decent.
