    My Corona Thought for the Day
    If renters dont have to worry about paying rent, then owners of property should not have to worry about paying property taxes.

    They are talking about this virus being 10 times more lethal than the flu. My husband told me to stop reading and watching everything about it , but it is kinda like a fender-bender you just have to look.

    I agree with your husband. There has been ONE death in Texas... a 90 yo man near Corpus Christi. The whole state is locked down like we're all gonna die. Ridiculous

    1st day of Telework went great. Participated in staff mtg thru conf call, had a little work to do, so day flew by.

    Yep, think I'm gonna enjoy this gig. :)

    LP.That's the way to think about bein' a boozer.

    Many a Writer.
    Even Winston Churchill who was actually a Tippler.Drank small
    amounts throughout the day.However I think he was really off base
    when insisting to have Champagne with Red meat dishes.
    Actually Red Wine goes well with Salmon dishes.Many folks don't
    know that.I think Churchill liked Port wine.Not sure if a Scotch man.,

    Does your state require you to pay state tax on rental property? Tax laws will make you crazy, I think that is their way of reminding everyone who is in charge.

    Especially given that a far majority of one's Home Property Tax
    goes to fund the public school system in that county,
    Let the Public School Teachers Union deal with that mess.
    In my state it was them Teachers Union who ousted Matt Bevin
    as Governor.We now have Liberal Troublemaker Andy Beshear.
    Son of former Governor,Steve Beshear.

    BTW ... Wake Me When the virus Is Over !

    Imagine the cash they spend on teachers and schools. Now, imagine virtual teaching with one teacher for hundreds of children and no brick and mortar buildings to finance. Imagine all those people who can work from home. Now, imagine all the savings companies would have with smaller or no brick and mortar buildings that they would need to own or rent. Imagine families being together more. Mom and dad or mom or dad works from home. The children are home virtual learning.

    Its around the corner as soon as people wake up to the fact times have changed. A large chunk of your property taxes go to education. Much of the expense I would imagine could be saved through innovation.
    Teachers are not babysitters and schools are not restaurants. I know this because I went to Catholic schools. lol

    Teaching is not an easy profession thank goodness for good teachers. They should be allowed to use a bit of ......well the ability to make unruly children a bit more behaved.
