I put up my own fencing and parked an old livestock trailer for shelter.

Just dropped cable and went with Sling. Saves about $50/month.

Fine I guess. Is there a widespread issue some people are having somewhere? I have direct tv at least until my july contract expiration. After that, who knows.

It’s funny how those weak spots in the fence are one-way deals. The goat can get out, but not back in the same hole. LOL :)

Our local fiber is tied directly into the biggest north-south line on the east coast that happens run through the area. For a wide area outage in our fiber, it would be breaking news on MSNBC.

My friend had a rescue Rottweiler (when his live-in GF left, she left her rescue dog too) he tried to keep it in the yard (he;d bark at people and looks intimidating) tried all manner until finally he got a chainlink cage with six sides... the dog got out of that too.. took awhile, but with dedication and 24/7 to work on it, this full sized rott managed to stretch and push a hole in the chainlink and escpe... the rotty then moved next door (where there lived a woman, which he prefers) and hasn't been penned since (tho' my friend did shoot off oneof his toes when, once again , the rott set upon he and his motorcycle, the Rott hasn't been much of a threat since! who says youcan't teach an old dog new tricks?)

We use Farm Bureau and they went through Michael without upping our premiums too much but the power company is a different breed we pay for Michael on each bill we get. I don't know when that will stop.

Is the mountain a “portrait” of a real one? It looks like one on Hwy 9 in Colorado south of Fairplay. I’m glad you shared your work. I like it and it brought back some good memories!

Thank you that is very kind. The mountains are from a picture I took when we were in Texas at Big Bend National park.

[IMG] A Big Horn sheep in Colorado.

[IMG] This one I know you know where it is. Wind River.

The picture in the painting is in The Big Bend National Park in Texas. A great place to visit. While we were there we went rafting down the Rio Grande.

My husband tells me Go is my middle name because traveling is my favorite thing to do.
Chisos Basin is where we were going when I took the picture. On the way down to Chiso Basin you have to watch out for the tarantulas so you don't run over them. The day we were there the skunks were everywhere. I stayed quite a ways back. I didn't want to upset one of them, they were permanent residents.
This was on 170 going towards Presidio if memory serves me right..[IMG]

Here's my latest one finished. Split over two frames.
Hasn't really worked, it feels strangely lifeless, never mind. I'll get back to the Aspens.
