Exactly what I'm in the mood for, sweetie... THX! (I need the protein after the yucky frozen microwave pizza I had for dinner last night. Patooie... nasty stuff.)

GOOD MORNING, Y'ALL! It's gonna be a good day... or your money back!!

    I always liked this song.

It has greater meaning to me now more than ever.

I sat here and smiled when he got to the part about "fancy dancers". How polite a term for sluts.

Oh No.Not with the " sweetie " so early in the Morn.It has been my experience that when
you start the day off with such words that in effect are related to the Idiom - light of
    one's life - there's troiuble a brewin'.
At least if you used a word like " snookums " or " lambkin " maybe even " buttercup ".
Not to disqualify " sweetie pie " a close cousin to your word.
    Or just " sweets ".
    " Petkins " or " precious " or how about " honey child ".
Now wouldn't it just be a GaS if Old Timer had a snappy comeback as he
bowled you over, insisting you his " inamorata ".
You being his dearest of all Dearie and special " inamorata ".

    Whatever are you talking about?

Now, if Gypzy would like to repeat the story of the pool boys, I'm all ear or eyes.

We don't get the smog, either. Not a lot of industrial type businesses in the area. I love this part of the country, and honestly, 4 or 5 months of winter is too much for me. We normally get just enough snow to make it fun. I know where you live is beautiful, too. Is this a great country, or what??

LOLOL... I can totally relate to that. We're on our 3rd or 4th 'manager' and everyone of 'em comes in excited and ready to set the world on fire! Us peons just roll our eyes at each other... been there, done that... sooner or later, they'll realize this is as good as it gets. ;)

Ugh. Just came back from a 2 hr mtg with our Mr. Anal & company. When they use words like "Fungibility" and "Maximization of Resources" -- my eyes automatically roll back into my head.

I got yer fungibility right here, darlin. :nerd:

One of those 'management' words. It started at the top and now all the middle mgrs are using it. It basically means exchangable. Here's an example from Wiki:

As an example: if Alice lends Bob a $10 bill, she does not care if she is repaid with the same $10 bill, two $5 bills, a $5 bill and five $1 bills or bunch of coins that total $10 as currency is fungible. However, if Bob borrows Alice's car she will most likely be upset if Bob returns a different vehicle--even a vehicle that is the same make and model--as automobiles are not fungible.

    *rolls eyes*
