Was Hillary ever convicted of a crime? She was sleazy as hell, but not not convicted - yet how many times have you chanted, "Lock her up ..."?

No he wasn't...he was impeached for perjury, and obstruction of justice...crimes, those charges were recommendded by the Special Counsel after conducting an investigation...something Mueller was unable to do for lack of evidence

No. He didn't. His administration did fight some in court, but when he lost, he turned over all requested information.

No, she remains innocent. The chant was done while the investigation was on going....it's been concluded.

Apparently you have ZERO Understanding of what constitutes an "Impeachable Offense".

    1) The Impeachable Offense does not have to be a per se "Statutory Crime".

    2) The President can be Impeached for (literally) anything (as long as a Simple Majority of the House agrees on the Article of Impeachment).

It does apply to any Federal politician who holds office.
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and conviction of Treason, Bribery, and other High Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Article II, Section 4 U.S. Constitution

    Technically that is not true.

Impeachment doesn't need a reason which is why the Constitution doesn't specify anything, they leave it up to congress to define and they make our laws.

They can consider anything a high crime that they want to, even not doing your job properly is a high crime if they say it is so.

This is the way the constitution set it up and the Supreme Court will not touch the issue. They never have.

However, that being said, the political ramifications for trying to impeach without an actual law being broken would be horrendous, the people would revolt against it and that party would suffer terribly in the upcoming election/s.

This is why Pelosi and crew are trying to shut down this talk as quickly as possible.

They are idiots but they aren't stupid and know how the game is played.

    Yes

"President Donald Trump said last month that he plans to fight “all the subpoenas ” issued by congressional Democrats attempting to conduct oversight of his administration and examine his personal finances.
He has lost two of those fights in the past three days.

On Monday, a federal judge in Washington endorsed the House Oversight Committee’s authority to subpoena the president’s accounting firm for financial records.

And on Wednesday, a federal judge in New York City said the banks for the president and his businesses, Deutsche Bank and Capital One, can turn over documents to the intelligence and financial services committees, after Trump sued to stop them."

    That's not the final verdict.

    Trump will appeal.

So no, Trump did not lose yet.

Nothing illustrates how hyper partisan and dishonest Trumpster are alike this one.

There was never any connection between Obama and the Uranium One deal. Nor is there any evidence that anyone sold our uranium to the Russians (since it is illegal to export it). There is no uranium shortage.

Benghazi was investigated no less than eight times. Your meme was discredited a long time ago,

By contrast, we’ve just been presented with an over 400 pages list of crimes and misdemeanors that this President and his cronies all engage in.

By contrast with your favorite right wing memes, all of it is supported by documented evidence and testimony. And it confirms nearly every news story that you tried to ignore.

You want people to be specific, so you and pretend that you have the answer. We all know that you’re twisting your neck in knots trying to look the other way and have dismissed documented fact.

So, your question is obviously self serving and typically dishonest, since you’re not interested in discussing facts at all. Indeed, you made a practice of ignoring facts.

And facts have always been inconvenient for the reactionary right wing, and especially for their man child fuhrer.

It didn’t work for Nixon, and Trump isn’t going to get away with it either.

    It’s just a delaying tactic,

Two things. This AG is not the Nation’s lawyer or defender of the Constitution, as Attorney’s General are supposed to be.

He’s Trump’s stay out of jail card. (He has Brett Cavanaugh for backup).

High crimes and misdemeanors are whatever Congress says they are.

This thread is pointless (except from a trolling standpoint).

There was an on going criminal investigation durin the nixon hearings. Nixon v US the court ruled executive privledge couldn’t be used to stop a legit criminal probe. Mueller said case closed here. Additionally Congress was asking for specific thing in that case, not fishing like today

Either way, the Court will decide
