    It should be bottom up, not top down like the right always does. For instance subsidies, and guaranteed loans for oil companies are the issue currently, and the right is all about that welfare.

    Oil companies don't get subsidies. So, there's one lie.

    Solar and wind companies for exist because of subsidies, but I'm sure you're ok with that.

    What passes for the "right" has historically been inclined to offer knee jerk support for police and the criminal justice system, but it seems to be getting over that.

    I well remember them teaching children that the earth is 6000 years old and there was no such thing as évolution.
