Some College Students Are Not Too Smart

All around the country college students are demonstrating in support of a country where they would not be allowed to demonstrate. Sounds like the definition of a "useful idiot".

 

What country is that?

 

Some non-college students aren't very smart either, such as those who make every comment that isn't 100% pro-Israel out to be 100% in favor of Hamas.

Granted, some of the moron college kids actually ARE Pro-Hamas, but not everyone protesting is.

 

None of these college students have proposed a workable solution. It is fine and good to hate that thousands of innocent Palestinians are being killed. However, shouldn't they be demonstrating against Hamas who is the basic problem. They have shielded themselves behind Palestinians and have taken Israel plus other countries citizens hostage. All of which is contrary to the Geneva Convention.

 

I don't disagree, I think they are protesting the wrong things too. I was just pointing out that protesting the treatment of Palestinians is not the same as being pro-Hamas.

 

The dumbest slogan I have seen on a sign was, “Gays for Palestine.” They obviously have no idea what fundamentalist Muslims do to them because of their sexual orientation.

It isn't an either/or. BOTH Hamas and Israel have done horrific things here.

 

Many have. They are calling for an immediate cease fire. I think that might be workable.

 

Biden is paying their college indebtedness because the colleges indoctrinate the foot soldiers who will keep growing the Democrat Party. The most valuable of these minions are the educators on all level who indoctrinate their students with the simple phrase, “Democrat good, Republican bad.” Once you plant the seed in a student’s mind over 12 or 16 years, it’s hard get them to think differently.

 

What is the alternative for Israel? Hamas has shielded themselves among civilians. If Israel goes to a street by street, building by building, room by room hand to hand war against Hamas, they will lose because defense tends to favor offense in casualties in a war. Israel would lose that war and thus their country would be wiped out. Israel is using the weapons which are more advantageous to them such as air power which does not discriminate between innocent civilians and soldiers.

A cease fire only works if Hamas agrees to a complete cease fire and returns the hostages.

 

An immediate cease fire, with Hamas in place, is a victory for the terrorists who perpetrated the October 7 atrocities. Hamas is still holding over 100 hostages. Why should Israel reward the savages who will only do it again once they are allowed to regroup?

Treating October 7 more like a criminal act, and recognizing the drastic difference in power and the indiscriminate bombming Israel has done, and the lack of care given to killing civilians.

What makes you think Israel would stop at that point? I've seen no indication that they would, or at that they would accept that all the surviving hostages have been freed even if they were (having no way to count the bodies given Israel having no doubt blown some up), or how the surviving hostages could be freed without Israel killing them mistaking them for Hamas (as we have seen happen to escaped hostages), or for that matter if Israel would ever accept that a Hamas surrender has happened even if it did. I see no reason to think that Israel wouldn't declare that there are still Hamas fighters hiding amongst Palestinians (even if all were gone) and keep on killing Palestinian children.

 

So if college students believe in a country that doesn’t exist, it isn’t the college students who are useful idiots, it’s the person who points out their stupidity?
