Guy takes it upon himself to take his gun and insert himself in a volatile situation. Other guys see him and take it upon themselves to challenge a kid with a gun.

You're talking about Kyle out of context, which is the only way Democrats have been talking about him. Democrats talk about January 6th all day long, but you never, ever want to talk about the monthslong rioting that cost over a billion dollars in property damage and killed dozens of people.

He wanted to help. He had no idea how many thugs with long criminal histories would be out that night. He has stated that he wouldn’t do it again knowing what he knows now. A rude awakening for a young idealistic kid.

 

I disagree with that interpretation. I think he wouldn't do the same thing over again knowing that there is a ruling class system of government, singularized by an inept yet determined prosecutor, that tried to punish him for disturbing the rioting that they largely supported, to, at that time, get ride of a president that they did not like.

As for the people that attacked him. Again sorry bout your luck. Plenty of city to protest, smash, burn whatever away from the guy with the gun. I don't mean to be flippant I understand there are real issues, and desperate people behind all of this, but again had just a tiny amount of sense been applied by anybody involved in this situation I wouldn't be listening to the entire country revere 2 different sets of dumbass behavior.

Actuslly many have been let off for less claiming self defense but what saved Kyle was video. Without it he would be in jail.
