The lawyers issued a statement Thursday naming Matt Sandusky, one of Jerry Sandusky's six adopted children, and saying that the 33-year-old had been prepared to testify on behalf of prosecutors at his father's sex abuse trial. "During the trial, Matt Sandusky contacted us and requested our advice and assistance in arranging a meeting with prosecutors to disclose for the first time in this case that he is a victim of Jerry Sandusky's abuse," Andrew Shubin and Justine Andronici wrote in the statement. "At Matt's request, we immediately arranged a meeting between him and the prosecutors and investigators." The statement was released after jurors began deliberating Thursday afternoon, with talks expected to last into the evening. "This has been an extremely painful experience for Matt and he has asked us to convey his request that the media respect his privacy. There will be no further comment." The statement, which did not detail the nature of the alleged abuse against the son, was issued after jurors in the ex-coach's child sex abuse trial began deliberating 48 charges against him. The jurors are sequestered during deliberations. Lawyers for Matt Sandusky and prosecutors did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Karl Rominger, one of Jerry Sandusky's lawyers, did not comment. Matt Sandusky went to live with Sandusky and his wife, Dottie, as a foster child and was legally adopted by them as an adult. Shortly after the former coach's arrest in November, Matt Sandusky's ex-wife went to court to keep her former father-in-law away from their three young children. Jill Jones successfully obtained a restraining order forbidding the children to sleep over at their grandparents' home. At about the same time, details emerged that Matt Sandusky had attempted suicide just four months after first going to live with the couple in 1995. He had come into the home through The Second Mile charity, which Jerry Sandusky founded. During testimony last week, an accuser known as Victim 4 said Matt Sandusky was living at the Sandusky home at the time he stayed there overnight. When asked by prosecutors whether Jerry Sandusky ever engaged him in a soap battle in the showers, he recounted the time when he and Matt Sandusky had been playing racquetball. After they were done, he said, they went back to a locker room. Matt got undressed and got into the shower and then Victim 4 and Sandusky followed him in there, the man known as Victim 4 testified.
Wow, I wasn't sure his story could get any worse...obviously I was wrong. Hope this helps secure a slam dunk case against him.
Sandusky, McQueary, and JoePa are all human trash. Obviously there are many more at Penn State as well, but those are the notable three.

The wife, Dottie, knew what was going on.... no one can be that blind. One of the victims said when he was at their home, Dottie walked in on them when Sandusky was trying to force him into oral sex - what happened after that wasn't explained, but I'm more inclined to believe the victim than her. She said that incident was about Sandusky arguing w/the kid about going out to dinner w/them since they had already bought dinner tickets and the kid didn't want too....... No wife can live in her home w/that stuff going on all those YEARS and not start getting suspicious that something doesn't smell right.....
If anyone believes that story then he will believe anything. How long has the Sandusky story been in the news? Long enough for interested parties to learn about it even if they were in a jungle. This guy is supposed to be an intimate family member. So what does he do? Instead of coming forward when the story broke he waits until the trial is over and then comes out with his sob story. The guy is either stupid, a liar, an idiot, or mentally ill. In any event someone needs to tell him to shove it. And don't whine that he was embarrased to come forth before. He's flapping his jaws now. He sure seemed to have gotten over his embarrassment or whatever he was suffering from. You can bet that every creep in Pennsylvania will show up whining if Sandusky gets convicted. They'll be looking to make an easy buck by crying how he "abused" them.

It's his son. You ought to recognize some internal conflicts with this for someone in his situation. It's very common that they abuse their own kids, as well.
Did they file a compliant? Why weren't they part of the trial? My point is that the guy should have taken some real-time action instead of waiting until the trial is over. Sorry, but that ship has sailed.

Isn't sex ed part of the current school curriculum? How can anyone get a fair trial decades after the alleged events? Can you recall exactly what you did between 1 pm and 7 pm on Wednesday, July 19, 2000? What clothes did you wear? What did you eat? How was the weather? Who did you talk to? Now roll it back another 5 to 13 years. Sorry, but if you can't get your behind down to make a timely complaint I'm not buying your sob story.
Your crap about victims expected to remember what day, time, what they wore, what they ate, etc etc is just a desperate attempt to protect the pedophiles and that's all it is. Victims remember the act, their feelings of helplessness, fear, pain, shame of what was done to them. Many pedophiles, sexual predators threaten their victims. Some of Sandusky's victims were as young as 7. His victims had no one to go to for help. One boy tried to tell his mother what he was doing to him, but the mother just brushed it off..... talk about failing your kid! So he was stuck - no one to go to for help..... Your attempt to excuse the pedophiles for the heinous crimes they commited on defenseless kids if the victims - regardless of their age- doesn't report the abuse as fast as you think they should is beneath contempt......
