Ghadaffi wanted to raise the standard of living in Africa, by taking them off the dollar and putting them on a gold standard so we killed him. Maybe China will raise their standard of living - although with China's record and the way it treats the N. Korean workers, one has to wonder. But it's up to the leaders in the African countries, and what kind of deals they make. I know that the N. Koreans consider working in Russia a dream job compared to China - and even pay Kim to work there.

In the Balkans, China wants to create a trade route to carry its goods from the port of Piraeus (which it has leased), to Belgrade. Like the Southstream pipeline, (which the US and EU stopped of course), it would raise the standard of living in the Balkans considerably. The US is fighting it with its NGO's and bribes, and even considering a greater (Muslim) Albania by having it unite with Kosovo and by taking chunks of (Orthodox) Serbia, Greece, and Montenegro.

History never fails to repeat itself. Western Europe always sided with the Muslims against the Orthodox, and this time it's no different. Of course there will be a war, there always is - it's the Balkans remember? This time Russia will get involved - it always does. Yesterday Nato went against the UN resolutions and took control of the company that supplies electricity to the Serb majority areas in Kosovo.

 

That's right and they didn't exist in South Africa until around the first millennium BC. Then they came in, conquered the people living there, enslaved them, and took their land.

So, instead, the Ramaphosa-sympathizers start screaming "RACISTS" at everybody who points out exactly what Ramaphosa is doing. Obviously, they defend Ramaphosa ONLY because he is Black. In doing that, while completely ignoring the fact that he will be stealing property from fellow citizens purely because they are White, the Ramaphosa-defenders are the biggest racists of all....

What would South Africa, or most all of Africa look like today had white Europeans never gone there and settled?

 

It will be interesting to see. Officially, as Communists, the Chinese believe in universal human brotherhood, that all races are equal, etc. Of course, in reality, they are ... realists. And also smart enough not to say what they really think, if that would damage their interests.

Now ... it's actually in their interests -- in all of our interests, in fact -- to pull Africa up as far as it can go. That is, to continue the very uneven economic and social development there. I don't think the Chinese are stupid, and they will realize, have realized, that they can't do business in Africa -- even if it's just extracting the mineral wealth -- without having a loyal cadre of Africans, even if just as window-dressing.

They're not stupid. While they crack down hard on organized dissent at home, they are also very careful to do everything they can to keep the support, active or passive, of the Chinese people. If they're really smart, they will carry on this policy in Africa, which means -- contrary to current practices in South Africa, for example -- no mass shooting down of striking miners.

So I optimistically predict that they will actually be good for Africa. But we'll see.

In other words blacks have far more to lose than whites if this passes and given those facts the ANC could well be setting themselves up for FAILURE in the 2019 elections since the opposition parties will be only too happy to use the threat of the ANC taking away their homes and land as the means to attract voters.
