Stacey Abrams would be concerned if Biden didn’t pick a women of color for VP

The MSM was promoting her before and it didn't help. They were showing her dancing and being hip and cool but bottom line she came off grating and unlikable. And for the life of me I have NEVER voted for a President because "oh he's like me and can identify with me" or "oh he's cool he likes my music" I vote for LEADERS who can administer and can run the Executive Branch and if the time came had to be shuffled down the elevator to the situation room and make decision that could bring us to war I could care less how "cool" they are.

The only VP polling I’ve seen(MN, MI) Abrams had a slight advantage over Warren among Black registered voters with Warren at the top overall (Abrams 6th).

Otherwise, Warren has the best favorability rating of the crowd of candidates among registered Democrats.

It’s believed Warren rep’s the “other” side of the Democratic Party.

IMO she’s the most competent of the crowd of candidates.

    She’s a fund raising force.

She’s stated she’s willing to accept the position.

Really the only question for Biden’s VP pick is, how big are Joe’s balls?

Oh! Nothing against Stacey. There’s a place for her (clean up voting) and that should be announced with the VP pick.

What does Klobuchar bring, she got NO support in the primaries from DEMOCRATS and Biden is already most likely to win Minnesota. I think he would do best to pick someone who was not involved in the primaries and took a beating and maybe a governor who has some executive experience or legislative accomplishment. Maybe not so well known but qualified.

Warren is not going to win independents and carries all that baggage and they'd end up with a Pres and VP who both exaggerated and misrepresent their credentials and they already get 95% of the black vote so Abrahams brings nothing on that front. And Abrahams has no place with her excuses about why she lost and "cleaning up", that's as overbearing as Hillary who keeps trying to claim the election was stolen from her.

Biden will be making a HUGE MISTAKE if he picks either Stacey Abrams or Michelle Obama, Kamala Harris Amy Klobuchar or Elizabeth Warren would be better picks.

So Joe's chances just went from less than 1% to zero.

    Good to know.

    Harris: More horrible than Hillary

Biden picking Harris kills the left turnout (sparse as it would have been) for Biden.

    It's political suicide.

But the DNC & its plutocrats are SO out of touch that they're actually pushing for Hillary 2.0 to saddle up with Biden.

    Political suicide.

Harris is grating on a good day.

She's actually less likable AND less trustworthy than Hillary.

    Harris: Worst choice (Certain loss)

Gabbard: Best choice (Will never happen as she's far too decent/capable)

    Warren: Brings nothing electorally

Abrams: Not a bad idea, but no electoral advantage

Joe might as well just pick Jill; she's gonna be at his side Nancying him through his sundowning anyway...

    Nah...

    Biden is still LOCK City...

At this point, if any of the Bernie people (or those expecting a "purity test") want to "sit it out" (or vote 3rd Party), it won't even matter.

The Dem. Party has moved toward PRAGMATISM in 2020.

    This isn't 2016.

Everybody from Bernie to Liz to AOC is on board.

The only way to beat Trump is to vote for Biden.

    It is a Binary Choice.

And voting 3rd Party/Write-in (or sitting it out) IS a Vote for Trump

    ^That is a FACT.

The Extreme LW (#NeverBiden) people are a minuscule minority in the Dem. Party and won't move the needle.

    Oh, and Btw--Long Time/No See.

    Welcome Back.:handshake:

There are no far left Democrats, a few Green New Dealers (borrowed from the left, but 100% lip service), and all liberals want benefits for illegals. (Socialists have varied views.)

    The left: Not liberal

    Socialists: Not Democrats

Joe isn't even lock city for the nomination, AJ!

    The general... (yikes)

    NeverBiden: For real

The Dem Party has pretty much always stood for pragmatism (ie: the will of corporate war whores & robber barons)

    Dario: The way to go

And thank you; we will NEVER agree about Biden, but you're a good egg.

Stacey Abrams would add a LOT to the Biden ticket......I'd guess about 400 pounds. :roflol:

Seriously, if this is all the Dems have......damn what a freaking joke.

    "Political suicide"? :roflol:

Not even close. Harris would be a great pick.

The "Left" Turnout WON'T even matter (at this point).

Anybody who doesn't want a Conservative S. Court for the 40 Years has no other choice but Biden.

Sad to say, but the RW "purity test" crowd is completely missing the boat.

Biden has enough of a broad-based coalition to win without them.

And, Biden (or any other Dem. Politician) is long past worrying about the opinions of the 1% of the Dem.Party that wants to "burn it all down".

If Bernie had any sort of broad appeal, he would have made S. Carolina close and did well on Super Tuesday.

The "Bernie Surge" was smoke and mirrors, and he was never more than a 25-30% candidate.

    Biden is in great shape.

And, any member of the "Left" who is Trashing Biden might as well be voting for Trump.

    2020 is not 2016.

The Realists have moved toward Pragmatism.
    The Court is too important.

Nothing wrong with picking one of the frontrunners from the primary process. Kamala Harris would be cool.

People have been talking about Biden/Harris since shortly after the 2018 Midterms.

It seems like close to a sure thing at this point.

Biden's not doing the picking, somebody else in the DNC is. They're hand picking the next president for when Biden steps down for health reasons.

Biden: What state is that in.....what state are we in? I can't wait till he debates Trump. Lock City will turn into the Lusitania.
