No. Lack of war is one thing I agree with him about. Immigration is another.

That said, the country has grown weary of the chaos that is this administration. The man is a repugnant pig, who only pretends to love his worshipers. He doesn't even pretend to like the rest of us. I don't trust him for a single minute. I can't even begin to imagine what he's done behind the scenes to destroy our country. He's terrifying. Someone who spends more time tweeting about enemies than worrying about a pandemic impacting the entire world, is not worthy to lead. His attention span is, what, 4 1/2 minutes? I need my president to enjoy reading, to be intellectually curious, who doesn't need to have yesmen around to stroke his ego. A good leader wants dissenting opinions, facts, etc. '

His claim is that he didn't want to panic us about the virus. A person who has no ability to imagine how to keep calm and present facts, is no leader. "NONONO - don't tell them about the hurricane!! It will cause a PANIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Every president, no matter how much you love or hate him, has done some good and some bad. There is no such thing as perfect. Trump is the same.

I thought you had to title your thread the same as the article. Did the rules change?

What?Is there another Desoto County, FL?
In DeSoto County, FL 34.7% of the people voted Democrat in the last presidential election, 62.2% voted for the Republican Party, and the remaining 3.2% voted Independent.

DeSoto county voted Republican in the previous five Presidential elections.
In the last Presidential election, DeSoto county remained strongly Republican, 62.2% to 34.7%

He IS crass, rude, coarse, abrasive, uncouth....indeed he is, I suppose that might matter if we elected him for his personality instead of for end results. The fact that he has accomplished all that he has in the face of constant opposition and obstructionism is incredible. Just imagine if parties could actually work together!

I am referring to registered voters, evidently Desoto democrats are not terribly motivated to vote.

I watched The Circus on Showtime last night. They interviewed some "militia" members. Those people are just NUTS. And they hear what he is saying, and they are getting ready. They are convinced that If Trump wins, its fair. If he looses, its rigged and someone cheated. His rhetoric has consequences.

Yet, when the worst crisis of his presidency showed up, he not only dropped the ball, he kicked it out the door and pretended it doesn't exist. His musings from the podium IS the country talking, as are his tweets.

What policy is COFVEFE? What doctors have taken up Trump's medical advise to start injecting disinfectant into people's veins? When the leader of the free world talks, the world listens. He's a nightmare.

Good luck on the 3rd. I lose either way, so, I can't even dream of winning.

I see someone set a ballot drop off box on fire in a heavily Latino are of L.A. There were quite a few completed ballots burned in the fire.

The Supreme Court did not give him victory, the vote count in Florida did, THREE times. All the Supreme Court did was stop the circus. Democrats wanted to count over and over and over again until they could magically come up with 400 new democrat votes. We have been over this time and again my friend Falcon.

Looks like Brenda Snipes started her Supervisor of elections career a few years late for that fiasco, she was rather skilled at "finding" ballots, lol.

oops, who said mail-in voting was such a swell idea?.... Certainly not us, Trump supporters. If they voted in-person on November 3rd their ballots would certainly not go up in flames.

That the libs time after time keep stepping into the pile of **** they leave for others and never learn their lesson is pretty funny though.

In 2016, they had 3,700 polling places in KY. This year, it's about 200.

So I guess they managed because there weren't thousands of people in line?

My mother was on Trump recommended hydroxychloroquine, she actually had a couple of side effects and could not complete the course, yet she recovered very fast.
Trump himself had a prophylactical course of it a couple of months ago, remember? When he caught the virus, it took him literally 2 days to recover.

PS My mother has Cuomo to thank for getting the virus in the first place. The idiot sent COVID patients to nursing homes, instead of sending them to the ship hospital provided by Trump.

Number of registered voters has nothing to do with "Desoto had always been a historically Democrat majority county, well that changed this year". Desoto has not been Democrat majority county for at least 5 Presidential elections

Waaaay past 'entertaining'. Was about the funniest moment in human history, to unfold on the world stage. How could any of us ever forget the chick who needed an ambulance .. RIGHT NOW .. because she was going to like, DIE. And of course there was Miley Cyrus sobbing for Hillary, and the screaming gender-fluid sitting on the pavement. Lord, how lucky we are to have been alive to see it play out :worship:

Don't get your hopes up! Today's radical Democrats would fight through hell and high water if they think there's some big welfare treasure-trove waiting for them....

OK, you happy now? I said that when posting this, my meaning should have been rather obvious as it says "registered voters" right there....By number of registered voters it has. I guess, like I said... some Democrats here must not be very motivated to vote. I suspect we vote over 70% for Trump this year, I believe several hundred new voters registered R this year.

To piggy-back off of this: whatever anyone thinks of his policies, the man seems to take actions that have wide-ranging impact without any consideration beyond the immediate moment. He caused the government shutdown a few years ago during the holidays when he spontaneously rejected a bill that he previously said he'd sign. Members of congress were already on planes going home when he decided to do that and it was chaos (and missed federal paychecks) for over a month before it could be rectified. He shocked our NATO allies and his own administration by out of the blue declaring we'd be forcing the allies to increase their share of the financial costs. He announces crap on Twitter and then his admin scrambles to make it happen, or to recover from the fallout. Even if Trump did something I agreed with, like getting the infrastructure maintenance he promised but now seems to have forgotten about, I'd still be pissed if he did it via twitter rant. We need a president that will aim before he shoots.

I agree with your analysis, but not your conclusion; that is, a larger portion of Biden's votes are coming via mail-in votes than are Trump's. I would even go a little further to say that, though significantly more Democratic absentee ballots have come in, so far, than by this point in the last cycle, the majority of that surplus are NOT Democratic voters who didn't vote in 2016, but represent voters who came to the polls in person.

All that said, the additional Republicans at the polls on Nov. 3rd, won't be enough to prevent Biden supporters, ultimately, from celebrating. And I do believe the overall vote count will be robust, by recent standards. But the real question is, how many state contests will be decided by a point or less?

Even one state, like Florida, being very close (if it determines the winner) would make it nearly impossible to draw the edges of the gaping rifts in our society together. And there are a number of contests, beside FL, that potentially fit this scenario: Georgia, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, & Ohio, (plus Iowa & Arizona).

Interesting spin on these events -- the full truth, however is does not tell the tail you want told.
    For instance:
"He shocked our NATO allies and his own administration by out of the blue declaring we'd be forcing the allies to increase their share of the financial costs."
    Reality:
Trump announced the US expects our allies to live up to their treaty commitments and spend their agreed upon % of their GDP on defense.
    Specifically, what's wrong with that?

It's that he didn't plan it out or talk it over with anyone. He just said it in a speech to the allies that was broadcast worldwide. No heads up or discussion. He frequently gets ideas in his head and just executes without any kind of preparation or sufficient consideration.
