Agreed, except for trade. Presidents do have plenty of latitude to f*** things up with trade.

    I wouldn't worry about it.

We have a pro-economy President now.

Fuel on the fire, in spite of his fellow R's giving that warning 2 yrs earlier.
If they were so concerned in 2001, they should have been just as concerned when they had control and not enacted ADDA. And neither should have Bush.
What were they warning about in 01 and what proposal were they hoping for?

    Water under the bridge, anyway.
I am merely pointing out that R's and D's do the same and both will spend and push wreckless policies if it is politically beneficial.

So you don't think the CEOs of corporations are smart enough to protect their own investment. Interesting.
I say those who are poorly educated are a better investment. Less living on the streets committing crime. Then get thrown into jail where the taxpayer then pays 24/7 for all room and board.

Yes. They ignored him and themselves if they were warning their own congress 2 yrs earlier.
The bubble went on for about 10 or more years.
    Irrational exuberance.

Code words for a coming recession, perhaps within a year.
That's what happened with the last pro economy president.

I can help that my opposition engages in failed programs and policies which produces bad news.

Protecting American technology is a better investment than income redistribution.

Are you not aware, technology is an investment in the company and it's future? Wow.
And technology is what everyone is saying China is stealing.

    Now slither yonder.

Well you seemed to be criticizing those who did not see the housing bubble coming or even did so and did not get out of the market, you say you see a recession coming within the year...............when do you plan to get out?

so you'll ride the market down. I agree timing markets is an exercise in futility.

BTW you never linked to the data that shows LW investors do better and are smarter than RW investors.

Both parties went along with it. Bush cried wolf at the end. No one wanted to hear it.
His rather aggressive, but ineffective regulator was a Democrat.

Yeah, unfortunately, so will the little guy that's living off the interest from his 401K retirement plan.

I think you meant to say the filthy capitalist who is profiting by stealing the labor of workers, right?

Does being retired make it okay to steal the labor of workers?

Do you have any clue at all about what your talking about? Retired people have worked all their lives to have their paychecks shortened by saving some in a retirement plan. When those plans are all tied into the stock market in case you didn't know.
