Read the OP which you have been defending and arguing for. If you want to now say they are full of BS please do so.

1972 and why I had a roommate and I didn't go around whining and complaining how I had worse than ANY generation before me. But you know what, being of the generation I was I didn't wait around for someone else to come around and improve my lot for me. I didn't believe I was to a certain standard of living and I as said at one point moved from the South to Chicago seeking better employment opportunity and took the risk on a shoe string and I made my OWN way through life.

My source is in the OP.

Here are the top 20 stressful scenarios reported by millennials:

    1. Losing wallet/credit card
    2. Arguing with partner
    3. Commute/traffic delays
    4. Losing phone
    5. Arriving late to work
    6. Slow WiFi
    7. Phone battery dying
    8. Forgetting passwords
    9. Credit card fraud
    10. Forgetting phone charger
    11. Losing/misplacing keys
    12. Paying bills
    13. Job interviews
    14. Phone screen breaking
    15. Credit card bills
    16. Check engine light coming on
    17. School loan payments
    18. Job security
    19. Choosing what to wear
    20. Washing dishes

OH they have SO MUCH worse than previous generations including the Greatest Generation. They are a bunch of whining snowflakes expecting everything to be handed to them.

From their perspective it is true. “Than ever before” means more than they have personally ever experienced to some.

Ok, and their are many millennials that are self made millionaires.
Everyone’s situation is different, saying “I did xyz why can’t others” leaves too many variables on the table.

What age are these people? Have any data?

So you cannot post the polling metrics, you cant identify the age demographics, and you have become psychic.
    Interesting combo

The commonly used term for that age group was identified for you since you were so uninformed and to lazy to look it up yourself. Do you have to be taught who are the Baby Boomer generation too?

Millennials are too broad a term, 22 to 38 years old, I understand your offense since you cannot even begin to list the polling metrics. Many people even classify high schoolers as millennials, so until you can stop being so “uninformed and lazy” to back your post with actual polling metrics I guess we can close this discussion.

Guess headlines are all some people need to form their opinions.

It's a widely accepted and understood term, it's your problem not mine.

Again, no metrics, nothing to discuss.

STOP! STOP! You have me laughing so hard I'm about to bust a gut. What us older generation remembers is wages were a hell of a lot less. We struggled just as hard to make that mortgage payment as people do today.

Of course they have to go to college, because the education they receive in college, is about equal to what a high school education use to be. Liberal feel good policies that promoted lowering the standards so everyone passed and everyone could be subsidized for a college education did nothing but open the doors for raising tuition, books, dorm fees etc. One of the great scams between politicians and universities. Here's a news flash: NOT EVERYONE SHOULD QUALIFY FOR COLLEGE.

We didn't have the problem of student debt because we didn't have credit cards. If you didn't have the money or couldn't obtain a loan you joined the service and did something for your country or you took up a trade. You had to be able to pass a very hard SAT. College was for those who were educated.

When I grew up I can't remember any boys that planned to live with their parents. Girls were different. It was expected of them to live at home for awhile. The day after I graduated I was on my own. My mother told me long before I graduated that the family didn't have any money to send me to college. We were raised to work as long as I can remember. I worked at a golf course for my first summer and joined the Navy and 6 months later I was sitting at the Bay of Pigs. Friends of mine wound up in Viet Nam and some died. Each generation has it's hardships. This is one of those generations that the parents tried to make life easy for them and pampered them. They get through this hardship and they will be stronger on the other side.
