Sucking CNN: Anti-Trump Network Fails to Get One Show to Crack Top 20 in First Quarter Ratings

Watching Jim Acosta's performance at the daily corona virus daily briefings in which he continually asks gotcha questions in a time when so many people have died and are dying is an example of why CNN is tanking. It seems obvious that they are receiving funding from some entity that is using them as a propaganda tool. Their advertising revenue has got to be dried up. Dr. Birx yesterday made the point that there will be plenty of time to go back after this is over and analyze what could have been better. She mentioned that China had stated on 1/14 that human to human transference was not possible and on 2/5 the WHO stated that there is no reason for any travel bans. At that point she was interrupted by ... Jim Acosta.

 

One of our elderly friends (we are also elderly) can't live without her MSNBC. I have to bite my tongue a lot.

 

It's a political organization pushing an opinion. It isn't like it's an actual news article from MSNBC. The study was done by another Democrat organization. It's like two liars vouching for each other.

Well, for anyone's info, said "reassuring statement" was echoed by all leaders of Western Nations.

 

Those early statements/policies were based on lies made by the Red Chinese and the WHO. Even Dr. Fauchi was duped who stated on 1/21 that the US had nothing to fear from the Corona virus and on 2/17 that the effects on the US would be minuscule.

 

The irony is that the people controlling CNN's programming are sitting around a table, scratching their heads, and saying, "We don't get it. We are lying about Trump and blaming him for what OUR hysteria in regards to the CoronaVirus did to the economy just as much and as vigorously as our political propaganda wonks can do and yet we are the ones losing the nation's trust." A moment of silence over that and then someone inevitably says, "I know what to do. Let's double down!"

 

By doing well, he probably meant that they are not yet out of business.

 

Remember when elementary school teachers had students bring in a burnt out light bulb and then teach them how to paper-mache it using a solution of starch and water and strips of newspaper? Once it was dry the kids would decorate it as they pleased with water color or tempera and then whack the art object against a desk until the hidden glass broke. Instant noise makers.

 

Indeed, and because they are older and wiser they can generally tell when a media outlet is consistently lying to them for political reasons; which is why they do not watch CNN.

 

SO, Cnn is aimed at information, not a ratings whore, like Fox News and Trump, and the cheering right winger section?

 

HOWEVER, hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

NOTE: Prior to Jan 21st, and prior to their first Covid19 case, this Canadian Province's CDC had already developed a diagnostic test for the new coronavirus, and guess what? NO DELAYS, AND NO FLAWS!

That because young people tend to be liberal, and old people tend to be conservative. Young people tend to not have cable tv. So most cable tv views are a bunch of older conservative guys. Young people are on social media, flipping through netflix, watching youtube, listening to podcasts, or looking at Yahoo or Google news.

None. But I'm sure according to CNN & MSNBC the 64,000 dead is all Trump's fault and not China's.

 

CNN is propaganda, and most Americans reject them. You get forced at the airport to see their trash, but otherwise.... nope.

 

That is true to a degree. But a network of CNN’s presence in American homes to be rated this low? There is more at work than Facebook and Twitter to that.

 

Lets take me for example. I am someone who doesn't really have a problem with CNN's message. Problem is that I don't have cable TV. For news, I usually look at yahoo.com or msn.com. I also like to go to YouTube to watch stuff. CNN does have a website. But it is kind of boring compared to yahoo.com. Yahoo has articles from many different news sources and is just a more entertaining website. The problem with CNN is that it is a bit boring for online news and is just one of many competitors. Any presence it had doesn't really exist for a younger online audience.
