    I stated a fact.
Your opinion to the contrary does not matter.

What do think made it possible for the southern states to secede from the Union? They had no standing army, but what they did have were citizens that were armed volunteering to fight for the right to secede from the Union.

The constitution specifically says people have the right to bare arms as essential to States having militias. You can't redefine militia in today's terms unless you also allow the rest of the 2nd amendment to also be redefined.

That's it. If New York doesn't like the SCOTUS decision, they should secede. Problem solved.

The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home.
    So.... No.

Not true, no one can deny that this Court is 100% political, and by design, when Mitch made appointment a majority vote he removed any check the Legislative branch had on the Judiciary

Sounds kind of like that nuclear option came back to bite them in the ass doesn't it?

There's nothing political about simply following the Constitution. Heaven forbid you should actually have some rights

More than 40% of the 2022 rulings were 9-0.
    So much for that.

And actually mean "Either way" nothing to those folks living in the DRC or other countries not effected by the U.S. constitution..
Especially coming from the DRC! Hell you can find a dozen articles of 10 year old children carrying and using full auto Krinkov's in that part of the world.. I call those folks preaching from the fox hole lolol ;)

Meaning 60% were not, and surely that 40% were cases non controversial nor involving ideological decisions

Well, the majority of the country, vast majority of women, supported Roe, and women compromise a large segment of that vital suburban vote

If the court were political, as you way, few. if any, decisions would be 9-0 and "non controversial" would not exist.
You're just mad the GOP played hardball, and won.

Abortion is a state issue now, and the states with permissive abortion laws aren't likely to change them.
So... the effect you hope for will be muted, at best.
