There is no "insanity exclusion" anywhere in the Constitution or bill of rights.

It was understood at the time it was written that it applied to people of sound mind.

I’m confused cause you just said they were law. I agree the second amendment is not an opinion. It’s part of the Constitution. Heller v DC is the law...it says what the second amendment says.
