'Swatting' David Hogg wasn't a 'prank,' it was attempted murder

Phone Warrants obtained from the field are not uncommon. Ergo, if the phone call to 911, was "substantial" enough and filled with all the "trigger" words, the officers dispatched to the "scene" could obtain a Telephonic and then breach. The term Swatting, has become confused with the actual use of a tactical team, which in fact is extremely rare - if it has ever happened at all and for the reason you state above.

I agree with you swatting is very dangerous and could two people being killed I think it tempted murder would be a bit of a long shot criminally negligent homicide maybe manslaughter. For murder you have to prove intent to kill.

As over the top as Hogg is when throwing around accusations and insults you're telling me he said this incident was “just a silly prank”? As serious as this could have turned out for him to blow this off as “just a silly prank” makes me think he knows who did it or maybe was in on it.

 

You seem really proud of you and your friends bullying behaviour and you even had to add that he was small!

 

They use swatting when they a receive a call that someone is in imminent danger. The prank caller knew that there would be serious risk to Hogg's life by making the prank call. Just a few weeks ago someone playing a video game was killed by a swatting team following a prank call and that made national news.

 

He was no smaller than me and we were kids.

The cops dismissed the Hogg swatting incident as a prank right off.
The Hogg-swatting that should have taken place 13-14 years ago in the woodshed is the one that was appropriate but failed to be applied, and that has allowed him to grow up

That's quite an extrapolation; you had an unfortunate incident with a cop and now you extrapolate that to all police officers. So, if a woman is raped by a black man, should she use your logic and claim all black men are rapists?
