Apparently, your grasp of the 1st Amendment is rather twisted if you think a gay couple being married in a Unitarian Church by a Unitarian minister who approves of same sex marriage in anyway conflicts with the 1st Amendment.
Gay marriage is not the law of the land, it is an attack on the law of the land. You have no law, just a fascist decree.
You certainly have that backwards. Our constitution must be followed by all states. Where did you get the idea that states could ignore the constitution?
If this is true, then I oppose it. People and businesses should be allowed to discriminate against anyone for any reason. This is not about religious freedom (unless you listen to conservatives). This is about private property and freedom of association. Both of those are wrong. Religious people should not be able to infringe upon the rights of homosexuals and homosexuals should not be allowed to infringe upon the rights of religious people. Thankfully.
Where did you get the idea that anyone could ignore the First and Tenth Amendments, and the law of 30 or more states? And in case you forgot, the First and Tenth Amendments are the Constitution.
Which is no longer the law in any of those states. Sorry about that. Wow, talk about a sore loser. Hey, buddy, you lost this one. Find a new windmill.
LGBT people are religious, too. Sexual orientation and religious choice are not fused by genetic makeup. And, we have well established rules governing the commons. Public accommodation businesses and employment rules call for equal treatment. This is not something new. Where did you lose track?
The Oregon and Kentucky cases were brought against the business owners BY THE STATES involved. They were not Federal cases. So sorry, you go home now.
The First Amendment applies to every citizen of the US, regardless of who originates the violation of it. So sorry for the country, that gay fascists like you don't know this.
So you couldn't come up with a legislative law either? Gay fascism sure seems to come up empty when it comes to real law. What a bunch of losers.
So sorry. You wrong more now. Hawaii Marriage Equality act. New York Marriage Equality Act. Maryland Civil Marriage Protection Act. Same Sex Marriage Legislation approved in IL., Minn. New Hampshire, Washington. All contain legislative language approving same sex marriage prior to the Supreme Court decision. So Sorry. Your post so sad.
The supremes note that this is a 14th amendment case. And, yes, there is no question at all that the laws of the states are not relevant once it becomes clear that those laws violate our constitution Did this get covered in your high school? I am curious, as "no child Left behind" does seem to have pushed for ignoring civics, and I tend to be interested in education.
Do those laws apply to the 30 or more states that define marriage as between a man and woman? Or do you just cherry pick which state laws apply, and which don't? I know that's what a fascist would do.
My state (WA) married gays. By Article IV, tour state is required to recognize our marriages. Even without the recent ruling, all you could do is not marry people in your state.
They don't anymore. Sorry. No, the Supreme Court decision applies to every state. Even red states. Sorry, you lost. But it's entertaining and informative to watch furious denial at work. Ignore how the law works, ignore how the government works, ignore decisions that go against you, cite irrelevances, and otherwise look too dumb to pound sand.
You so mad now. You ask for legislative laws. We give you legislative laws. You so mad. You pretend states no never mind Supreme Court. You so mad. 10,000 legal same sex marriage under state laws. You so mad. Never mind. You go home now.
Five gay activists note this is a 14th amendment case, four Supreme Court Justices ruled otherwise. The First and Tenth Amendment applies to the Courts as much as it applies to anyone. What is clear to a gay activist is gay activism, not the law, or the constitution.
You know what I meant. I oppose that. I never said that they do have the right to discriminate. I said that they should have the right.
You have homosexual stuff on the lips of people all around you? Did you bother to read what you wrote? Just asking ...
