I think Obama lost the will of the American people on attacking Syria. We know that Obama talked to the Russians about this deal a couple of weeks ago. I do not think at all that Kerry misspoke when saying something about a deal. I think it was the typical ploy of this admin. I do not think they want a negotiated deal however. I think Obama wants to figure out how to whip up American support for an attack. I say this because the Admin has stated they wish to go before the UN security council with the idea of sanctioning an attack if the deal does not work. We can wait for the theatrics of this all over the next two weeks. The only thing is he is underestimating how much the US citizens do not want any sort of military action in Syria. This ploy is not going to work.
