I suppose I should speak like that to you, but not right now. I will wait to see if you engage in a pattern of taunting or insults.

    But to points

Fossil fuels use so far as I am aware, are not reported by science to be killing us.

Nature includes many hazards. Such as the bird kills by the Alameda county windmill farms. Having driven by them hundreds of times, to my eyes, they do not add beauty to nature, they are really distracting.

Renewable means what? When you used the wind, are you saying you have more wind where that came from?

Why do I call for using fossil fuels then?

The reason is you all own automobiles. You get what you need to live by buying at stores that get freight thanks to fossil fuels. Ships cross the seas thanks to fossil Fuels. If you recall at one time ships were powered by renewables. But they advanced.

Aircraft carry stunning amounts of freight. I get things from Amazon.com thanks to aircraft. They can't convert to solar. Nor can they convert to wind.

Who owns in ground fossil fuels? Much of the oil in the USA comes from leased lands. The fact that a driller gets to sell the oil, does not mean he owns the land.

Anyway, my chiding is over who runs energy?

Even with solar, we find that the long process taken by solar firms has government tracks all over it.

Government is why you pay doctors so much. I know this is not energy, but it is over Government. I see how Government has radically driven up costs. Sure, you may want solar, but do you want the government to stop messing them around? Will you put up with the government standing aside so you get your solar?

Given your love for solar, and knowing where you live in general, and you told me ... can you imagine you using solar for these past few weeks? Have you seen much sunshine?
