Talibiden Administration Abandons Americans in Afghanistan

Biden said he would keep soldiers there until all American citizens that wanted to leave were evacuated. He lied. That’s the point. He lied and essentially gave the Taliban Americans to torture.

How many more deaths would have been worth it to you?

 

That is an excuse to be a liar and abandon American citizens?

 

They would be happy to defend Americans. That’s what they signed up for right?

 

This is pathetic, first the excuse was they wanted to stay, then it was that soldiers are not meant to defend their citizens or that their lives are worth more than a defenseless citizen. Pathetic that’s all I got to say..

Fortunately, that is not up to you or the other BDS sufferers, who apparently deem human life expendable on a whim. Besides, more than American military members were at risk from continuing attacks. The sooner we got out, the less probable bloodshed. Even the attack that took 13 American lives took many, many more Afghan lives. They have suffered the majority of violence and death in our war there.

As for the Americans remaining, they had their chance to get to the airport but didn't, assuming they even wanted to go. Now it's up to them, the administration, and perhaps others to figure out another way.

how do you know they had a chance? Prove it. I can provide proof that the American government believes they most definitely wanted to get out of Afghanistan. The general admitted the citizens wanted to leave but they could not get to them.

 

You just said it was OK for more soldiers to die because it's what they signed up for. Don't pretend you care about Americans. It's not at all convincing.

 

Also abandoned the service dogs in Kabul.

 

American civilians are supposed to be protected by their military and POTUS, not abandoned and left at the hands of terrorists. You have no concern for Americans! You only have concern for your mind rotted president.

I’m okay with our military protecting our citizens. The reason Biden said that was because he knew it was the right thing to do. He backed out on it!

 

Nah. He just wasn't counting on US citizens not showing up despite weeks of notice or not wanting to leave. He shouldn't have promised to stay there to get them all while also setting a strict deadline, though. Too easy for that to end up the way it did and make him look bad.

Poor Leftists, having to defend an incompetent and careless imbecile who completely botched the withdrawal from Afghanistan that got 13 servicemen and women killed unnecessarily and then abandoned hundreds of Americans in Afghanistan after he lied on national TV and told the American people he wouldn't do that.

And then there was his despicable behavior in front of the families at Dover and the photo that pretty much sums up why this shameful debacle went down the way it did:

It's not difficult to figure out why the Joebots in this country are defending the indefensible right now. All of them are indirectly responsible for this fiasco because they put this moral and intellectual pygmy in power and that reflects on their own piss poor judgement. And so they attempt to shield the failure they put in the White House from criticism and accountability because the myth of Leftist infallibility must be preserved against the onslaught of the reality of their incompetence.

Of course, there are the exceptions who voted for Joe Talibiden and are honest and adult enough to acknowledge his dereliction of duty and what that made possible - 13 dead servicemen and women, hundreds of Americans abandoned in Afghanistan and the shame and dishonor all of it has brought on our country.

 

Obviously, you're okay with abandoning Americans in Afghanistan and making excuses for the careless individual who gave his worthless word to the American people he wouldn't leave them there but did anyway.

Congratulations. You got what you wanted. This is what you voted for.

Joe's right - our troops are already laying their lives on the line and if they had a CinC who was concerned about more than himself they would have gotten our people out of Afghanistan months ago without having to risk their lives.

However, they don't have a CinC who is concerned about more than himself, and 13 of them died because they have this:

 

Why do we have a military if they won’t go and protect our citizens from a foreign entity? Biden is the biggest piece of turd I’ve seen as a leader in a long time.

People want to give Biden the credit for getting our troops out of Afghanistan yet give all the bad credit to Trump. I’ve even heard the argument that Biden is the only one that is willing to do it, but it was trumps fault for signing an agreement lol.

That 5,000 number is dwarfed by how many was released by the taliban after Biden allowed them to take over prison facilities.
