Speaking of Congressional leaders and "Who would you have a drink with?"

The Dem leaders:

1) Nancy Pelosi and some of the 'vinegarized' wine from her vineyards (she is like Medusa to wine)[IMG][/IMG]

2) Harry Reid and a glass of water (he's Mormon)

or

The Repub leaders:

1) Mitch McConnell and some Kentucky Bourbon

2) John Boehner and a beer with a cigar

Which leaders would be the most fun to hang with on a Sat night?!! I rest my case.....

Well, Don't know where you are getting your numbers(care to share your link)? Because there ain't no way in the world I'm taking your word for anything. If I have to go get some real numbersfor you I will, however, seems it doesn't matter one iotta how much "real" proof is offered here, you GOPBAGGERS are so blinded by hatred that you wouldn't know truth if it hit you right between the eyes-(evidence is just a few pages back, when I provided a link on the Salon story about Fox news trotting out a couple who claim OBAMACARE is ruining their business, couldn't be further from the truth, yet not one of you acknowledged the "fact" that Fox lied, the business owners lied)you just keep on slamming & insulting & whining-just sayin---

I drink Kentucky bourbon but having Mitch McConnell around while I was drinking it would be a certain buzz kill. I'd rather have water with Reid.

Don't hear you rebuking the racism in your ranks. Seems you don't mind too much.

I read the info. I do see the point being made. Yet it still goes against fundamental principles that I've always had reference govt. I'm not convinced that govt taking on the role of a business can work. There is a reason there are separate business and political departments in universities. They require a different set of knowledge and skills. Just because one excels in politics, doesn't necessarily mean they excel in business.

The author of the article is stating that the reason Red state governors didn't set up exchanges, is because of politics:

"as Red State after Red State decided to play politics by refusing to set up their own exchanges who now condemn the results of the federal effort."

I say, maybe not. Maybe it's because they are politicians, and don't appreciate being told by the federal govt to operate a huge business.

Ok man. Both sides got problems, heck, all sides got problems with racism. Racists are everywhere. It's not like we didn't hear Rev. Wright's racist remarks repeatedly for a few months. Obama not only sat in his church for 20 years, but befriended him. I never saw much of a rebuke of Rev. Wright from Obama, if it all.

Is that all you got? Doesn't sound like much. I thought for sure one of you guys was going show pictures of the two scary looking Black Panthers intimidating voters. That always gets a reaction out of some people.

I remember his comments well enough to know I determined he was a racist in the summer of 08. It will take me some time to find you the reasons I made this determination 5 years ago. I used the guy's own words, on video, as my determining factors. Unless those vids have been deleted from the internet, I'm sure I can find them.

Very interesting personal anecdote.

Which Democrat called someone the N word? Who are you talking about? A township clerk? Sounds like a national figure, very prominent Democrat.

"All they have to do now is sit back and watch Obamacare implode."

The entire "Tea Party" is wholly invested in failure as its main political impetus.

Good luck with that. See you at the polls.

"A whole new head of steam."

Yeah, that explains their inability to think past immediate gratification to the imminent ramifications of their inane actions.

Hmmm, as the PF racists constantly point out, calling someone a racist on PF is against the rules. I'm afraid I will have to report you for this breach of PF posting protocol.

But again,I explained in an ealier post, that if the Insurance companies "would" have treated the American people fairly,we wouldn't even be having this discussion,"FACT" is the Insurance companies have been gouging people for over 50 years, where is your outrage at them (Insurance companies)for picking &
choosing & discriminating against.
Hey,look,It doesn't matter how good something is,there will always be someone who will find fault with it-however in this particular issue (ACA)the GOPBAGGERS are condemming it before it even has a chance to work--much like the fight for Social Security--Rachel Maddow from MSNBC did something pretty interesting last week on her program-she took video & narrative from the Social Security breakout & put it side by side with some GOPBAGGERS video & narrative with todays opposition to the ACA & in some instances the wording was exactly the same-.Well,we all know how long social Security has been around & even conservatives will say,"Don't touch my Social Security". Only time will tell how successful ACA is,but I just have to say,it was one of the issues OBAMA ran on in his Presidential campaign for 2012-he got re-elected by a 5 million vote advantage--OBAMA "won" the right to see ACA through----
My point & my anger is-if the GOPBAGGERS hate this law, they should rid of it going through the very process that OBAMA did, campaign,"win" elections & follow parlimentary procedures-Not threaten, hold hostage & ruin our country by strong arm tactics---So,that being said, the GOPBAGGERS don't have a leg to stand on--IT was just plain wrong for the GOPBAGGERS to hurt each & every American citizen in one way or another because of theier childish selfishnes.
And one more note, the GOPBAGGERS came dangerously close to messing with millions of people's 401ks & other investments by threatening default on the debt ceiling,if there is "ANY" inkling that they(GOPBAGGERS) might try it again,it is not any politician that people are going to go beserk on--I think you know how people feel about someone messing with their money & nest-eggs---just sayin

Ten Core Beliefs of the Modern-Day Tea Party Movement

http://www.teaparty-platform.com/

Did I miss the part that says one must be White to join and their platform is anti-African-American?

Sounds like more Liberal lies & slander to marginalize a true Constitutional grass roots movement! Add 'thuggery' to that for the users on this forum pushing the hate and mis-information with slanderish talking heads as their backup....

I cannot deny what you say. It does seem that there are many people out there who want this to fail. And I see the ones who are racist, and that is the probable reason they want it to fail. Trust me, I see your concerns. But all of us who have concerns over this law, are not racist, or even hate Obama. I fundamentally believe that govt shouldn't be in the insurance business, or any other business. As in running them. I do agree that there needs to be regulation, but asking the states to take over an area of commerce sounds contrary to the principles of freedom this country is founded on. This law will undoubtedly increase Americans' interaction with govt agents, not decrease it.

One doesnt have to use the n-word to be racist.

Actions speak louder than words, such as: stay on our plantation and we will feed you with food stamps, house you with welfare, and even give you a cell phone, making you dependent on us.

But if you leave our plantation to be a 'free-thinking' man or woman, we will ridicule you and ruin your reputation by calling you racial slurs like Oreo & Uncle Tom, and try to separate you from your race.

Now THATS racism!!

Do you not see what you are doing--you are making an "assumption" based on certain lies & misrepresentation-and you have also bought that the Government is our enemy-which then you become your own enemy, because "WE" are the Government-if you want us to legislate better, then find "BETTER CANDIDATES" to represent us-the GOPBAGGERS record so far is disgraceful---Sharon Angle,Christine O'Donnell,Todd Akin,Herman Cain,Sarah Palin,Mitt romney,to name a few, then the GOPBAGGERS listen to losers like Dick Army,Newt Gringrich,Rush Limbaugh,Rick Perry,Rick Santorum,Mike Huckabee---the list is really long-And what do they all have in common----ANTI-ANTI- All they have to talk about is what they are against- not one among them has a platform with a "Positive Message"for our future or our citizens---
I'm all for moving this country forward, nobody said it would be easy & nobody is perfect. And that is what the GOPBAGGERS don't seem to get!

It's way too late for that.
