    Seriously though...

I've only been to Nuevo Laredo, not further south. Laredo is desert-ish, flat and dry.

You're comparing a newborn infant's smile to the death rictus an old man dying because it hurts too much to breathe, and you're calling US sickos? You people are truly beyond belief.

What are you babbling about? You are making less sense than you normally do, and that is saying something!

Here I will break it down for you to a lefty liberal level.....

Newborn smiles are 100% pure, untouched by anything but God. Yet the doom and gloom crowd could find a fault in them.

No old dying people mentioned at all. Stop jumping at shadows, it’s bad for your heart.

Biden's a little late, but the prayers are appreciated. Abbott is on top of the support people need with the press briefing several hours ago.

    The Texas Tribune

Headline: Texas hospitals are running out of drugs, beds, ventilators, and even staff

    July 14, 2020

Regional news, however, according to Trump’s loyalists.....All lies!

    IMO, living a lie.

Hurricane update: The eye of the storm moved entirely inland a while ago. Winds slowed from 90MPH to 80MPH with gusts up to 115MPH. The meteorologists said that unlike Hurricane Harvey, which stalled and hung over the gulf coast for days slinging band after band of rain over the same area, Hurricane Hanna should continue moving southwest across Texas and into Mexico over a few days. That's a good thing!

    Very simple math;

Texas new daily cases surged on June 15, from 91,380 cumulative cases to today’s 393,683 cumulative cases, thus, approx. 302,000

Florida new daily cases surged on June 08, from 64,904 cumulative cases to today’s 414,511 cumulative cases, thus, approx 350,000

Yesterday, FL’s Department of Health stated that 12,000 + are currently hospitalized for Covid19.

Thus, if 350,000 new cases = 12,000 + hospitalized, what’s 302,000 new cases equate to?

Approx. 10,350 are currently hospitalized for Covid19 in Texas.

    Anyone.....

    Am I right, or wrong?

Psst: I have several more questions, universal language..... math

    Wow! What a coincidence.....

Previous post, I stated; Texas new daily cases surged on June 15th

Well, here’s Texas Hospital bed capacity dated June 16th, 2020

    Office of the Texas Governor

    Source; https://gov.texas.gov - press pdf

    Total beds available; 14,933
    Total reported beds; 54,844
    Percent beds available; 27%
    Total ICU beds available; 1,675
    Total Classic/ventilatiors available; 5,869

THUS, considering the fact over 10,000 have been hospitalized for Covid19 since June 15, there is a ****en crisis!

Lol...everything about trump is an inconvenient truth for you people, isn’t it?
The dotard is killing Americans with his incompetence yet you people make excuses for actions that would have driven you to insurrection if Obama or Clinton had done them.

You try to demonize Cuomo yet make excuses for trump doing far worse nationally. The hypocrisy is nauseating.
But the rest of the country knows which of the two is the better leader.

He killed a lot of people.

    Trump knew better.

This is why its so rich to hear Cuomo saying he pulled it off.

Even lefty networks know its revisionism.

Mortality Rate Spikes as Hospitals fill up.

Very old.. Triage and Triage Again

Mortality Rate is a moving target and not a good number to base success on.

You are right that treatment is lowering mortality. However people do not normally start dying till at least two weeks after infection and often a lot later. Deaths are picking up in the areas now hardest hit. This did not need to happen.

Yes I agree, and mortality is a lagging indicator.

However we now have better testing and treatment modalities, and know how to lower the inflammatory effects.

I suspect those with diminished vascular, pulmonary, and cardiovascular capacities are still the most vulnerable.

But we didn't need this virus to know that the highly susceptible are the most at risk, and that seeding nursing homes with this was a good idea.

Mortality rates spiked even as hospitals were empty.

    In New York and elsewhere.

We based "success" on not having 2 million dead in a few months, as was the stated reality just a few months ago.

No need for wartime triage when resources aren't limited.
