    link to the Pentagon page?
Meanwhile "These include some 48 UH-60A/S-70A Lockheed Martin/Sikorsky ‘Black Hawk’ twin-engine medium-lift helicopters and 54 MD 530F Cayuse Warrior attack helicopters, manufactured by US’ McDonnell Douglas (MD)"
    https://thewire.in/world/taliban-no...ed-weaponry-left-by-retreating-western-forces

    530Fs and UH-60As - ANCIENT

When did Lebanon become an ally? You know, Iran's ally that purchased 6 MD-530Gs. Hmm, Lebannon has been sold equipment which according to you contain this "high tech top secret software"

What's this got to do with "high spec top secret software"? You haven't explained the difference between "high spec top secret software" and any other spec, top secret or otherwise?

It's basic code; look up Angle Off Boresight Targeting for example. I've written code for RWRs, LWRs and for missile targeting and none of it was "top secret". It's pure maths. Oh perhaps you should also learn why some information may be encrypted before you copy and paste "big words" to pretend you know what you are talking about. Here is a little hint for you; how useful would it be for you to see encrypted information without the key?

I can tell you know what you are talking about. When in the Army I was based for my final several months at an Army airfield in Bavaria where those pilots flew the Huey and most also the Bell 2 place helicopter.
I happen to be a pilot who has not flown any military type aircraft but most of us over time picked up things we would not know but we are pilots.
That Blackhawk is loaded for bear.

My thinking is flying it is one matter, as a skilled pilot a very different matter. Those guys still bung sheep for sex. I truly do not think they are capable of maximum use of their helicopters. From the description you gave, they are up to date.

Hell, I doubt they would ever get one fired up without a hot start or could even read and execute a pre flight check list.
They will sell them to China and Russia or trade them for weapons systems and arms.

No such thing as a top secret UH-60 A and the civilian versions don't have military weapons systems, Hellfire missiles, or complex encoded communications.
But you thought they all come with those systems huh. Typical of the understanding of those on the left who think Biden is doing a great job.
But if you're so confident, why don't you copy and paste those pictures, put them on the internet, and offer them for sale to Russia or the Taliban.
    I DARE YOU.

When did I say that? You are saying they all come with those systems, not me.

FYI, the civilian version is known as S-70

I am not on the left, and I think Biden might have to resign because if this, but then again, you already that, you just choose to say something you know is not true.
You dare me to list something I don't own? I dare you to list the White House for sale. Sheesh.....

    Sober up!!!

I guess in your haste to find anything you can use as a punch line, you overlooked your own provision.
However, on a more portentous note, there was also the likelihood of Chinese and Russian military officials and technicians being granted access by the Taliban to some of these advanced US weapon platforms like UH-60A/S Black Hawk helicopters

Which carry the L model upgrades. When you find one of those ancient UH-60s you let us know.

Oh, so now your trying to hide behind some of your wordsmithing? First it was

Which I answered. Since you couldn't dispute what I posted, Now its high spec top secret software?

    YOU MADE THE CLAIM
The equipment left behind is ancient! China probably made much of it! There was no high spec military gear left behind.

    I asked you a question

Now are you going to answer the question or continue with your encryption babble because you can't back up what you posted.
Lets find out if you're all talk.

You're the one who posted this.

So you thought the S-70 was top secret? Or are you now just backtracking because you didn't know the difference between the 60A and the civilian version?

Yeah, you can put the White House up for sale on the internet. Noting will happen. NOBODY on the planet would think they could buy that.
But you don't know the difference between that and putting a UH-60A for sale to Russia or the Taliban.

You're the one that touted you can buy TOP SECRET UH-60As online. Now your trying to backtrack?
    Thats what I thought.

What kind of evil sociopath(s) would give the Taliban any modern war-fighting equipment, much less advanced American war-fighting equipment?

Really, who would do that - give the enemies of your Country, advanced American war-fighting equipment?

The key question is simply how much of that equipment will still be usable after the pull out? Most of it was concentrated at Kabul. Certainly so as other airbases started to fall, anything that could fly out would. Any critical systems there that the US has had time to access will have been crippled or removed.

China might get a chance to pick through the bones and get some useful tech but nothing critical. Unless of course the US forces on the ground have really screwed up and nothing has been done about the neutralizing any military stores on the ground. Even then without spare parts and skilled maintenance personnel? In 12 months time the afghan air force will be a bone yard.

Where are the going to fly too? Unless we airlift those Blackhawks out, (which we didn't) they have nowhere to go.

Oh, Its going to be a US Army fire sale. No doubt.

They wont be able to get the choppers out of the country but they could easily 'field strip' the most vital/sensitive components and destroy/cripple anything they want to take with them in place. The let the Taliban have whats left. Munitions? Take the seekers out and/or just rig them to blow 2 minutes after the last plane leaves.

Just not a very profitable one. China (and Russia) will already have fairly up-to-date versions of 90-95% of the stuff on your list. Unless US Forces are very sloppy they'll have concentrated on the key 5-10% or whatever of components/systems that the US deems a priority.

For that matter I doubt the Afghans were ever equipped with really critical, first line systems because a) they didn't need them and B) no-one would trust them not to steal and sell it off to the highest bidder in the first place.

    Absolutely agree

They are not first line defense UH-60L systems. Totally agree. They are Ally versions for the very reasons you describe. But they do have necessity systems including encrypted communications and target acquisition systems. How much of that is in the hands of Russia or China is unknown to me.

And where did I say they all come with hellfire missiles etc. You are the one pretending that is the case, not me.

Get honest, and stay that way!

No, you did, or at least pretended to.

No, I told you about the civilian version after you talked about them as one and the same.

The UH-60A can be bought, so lets stop pretending its impossible for the Russians to already have one. Its beyond obvious that if they needed one, they would have have had it decades ago.

As I said the key components like parts of the system you just mentioned would probably be the only parts they'd consider either taking with them or more likely having an on-site barbecue with. The rest of the chopper they could simply monkey wrench or weld into uselessness with five minutes effort per chopper.

Oh. I can guarantee they will take the complete aircraft. They will fly it looking for its weaknesses, flight envelope, survivability, GE production turbine, and in the field repair capabilities.
Nothing we haven't done or won't do in the future.

Once a person understands the starting procedure, of course then it is easy. I agree they would not even understand check lists.

Take civilian business jets. A guy on YouTube flies Premier #1 and flew fighter jets in the military. He walks you through now to start up that jet but without hand holding or using the check list, I doubt many can fire it up. Some of those pilots skip over how to start a jet perhaps thinking of 911. The other day he posted a video of his trip from Hiway 70 in Colorado to Dallas. I generally watch a few moments at the start and then the landing.

It wasn’t given to the Taliban it was given to the Afghanistan military we have been training for 20 years — the vast majority of these assets were not American but Afghan.

As to who gave it to them; Bush, Obama & trump. I believe Biden is the only one that didn’t give them any more equipment.
