Who are you to talk, Republican administrations have committed far more crimes than democrats, by a long shot.

BBB and the infrastructure bills are good for the country.

I don't care, Reagan got it done. The country is stable and a democracy. There are no more armed Cubans or Russian advisors on the island. One more problem we don't have to face or worry about.

You've been listening too much to the right wing echo chamber.

That has always been the case. 50% of illegals are visa overstays.

Immigration has always been a chaotic affair.

No administration has been excluded from the difficulties of immigration policy.

Score a tiny one for Ronald Reagan. He also gave 2 million immigrants amnesty, I approved of that one, too.

I don't know if you noticed but this, isn't the same Democratic Party of Kennedy, my Father, my five siblings or myself. Kennedy wouldn't recognize it if alive today and neither do I or my five siblings.
Only because the Democrats lied their ass off.

“In 1986 Senator Kennedy said, ‘This amnesty will give citizenship to only 1.1 to 1.3 million illegal aliens. We will secure the borders henceforth. We will never again bring forward another amnesty bill like this.’

And Trump was right about one thing, the economy, indeed, does better with Democrats in the White House

Like I said, this is not the Democratic Party of Kennedy, my Father, or mine.

I rather pity you (ie the original poster) for espousing such a unconscionable divisive scheme of things, namely all of your "us versus them" stinko mentality. (No offense)

When it's taxpayer funded I have every right to weigh in, if you have a problem with that, that's your issue.

Oh, you have every right to weigh in, just as much as I have every right to be critical if it appears to be to be frivolous, as we all have our opinions, of which sharing, debating, etc., is the function of this forum.

America, from Reagan onward, took a turn to neoliberalism, which was continued under Clinton and Bush 1 and 2.
Under Obama, we rejected neoliberalism, returned to it again under Trump, and rejected it once again under Biden.
Trump was an anomaly, not a 'we the people' choice, given he was elected by a fluke of the electoral college.
Clearly, the people want a return to the values of FDR, and a reject the values of neoliberalism ( Reaganomics, etc ) which has ruined the country. But, it will take more than one presidential term to do it.
But all numbers are bigger because the population is bigger, so it's a meaningless point.

I believe that, under Obama, now Biden, we are moving back to the party of FDR, though we got a ways to go. We strayed under Clinton, who took us to a more neoliberal direction.

I don't believe the happy part, no.

As for the first part .. if you DON'T believe it, you have your eyes shut tight and your fingers jammed into your ears. Home ownership is plummeting from the percentages seen in the late 20thC. And it's happening fast. All deliberate, in case you weren't aware (and I suspect you're not). They wouldn't have come up with the phrase quoted, had it not been the plan all along.

There has never been a moment in taxation history, that the government's budget pleased everyone, which means everyone has a bitch about the money being spent of one kind or another. So......

Yeah, neoliberalism has ruined America. So, down with neoliberalism, and up with liberalism.

You are attacking a position no one holds. You should probably start your own Straw Dog club.

Are you talking about the Reagan laws signed in the 80s that you quoted? That's all I saw in your last post.

    So?

None of those, particularly the 1st one, are mainstream democrat ideas. 16 year olds voting makes perfect sense to me. Many of them work, so they get taxed without representation, and most of them have civics fresh in their minds. Probably support better policies than the average senile 80 year old fox watcher.

Don't have time to address the rest right now.
