I thought all you had to do to get to Heaven was embrace Jesus Christ sincerely before you died. I am hoping to be senile enough to do this just before death in the remote chance that heaven actually exists and sincerely accepting Jesus is all that is required for admission.
Seems to me that you are equating a belief that one understands the universe with being condemned to Hell.
Who decides whether another is a true Christian? You? What if an 'untrue Christian' says you're not a true Christian, because you don't attend church (or some other point of difference)? They must necessarily also be 'correct', since they have as much right to determine this as you do. If you're both correct, (and both wrong, to each other), how does that work, exactly?
If you deny God your whole life that is the only unforgivable sin that is listed in the Bible. There is no turning to him at the 11th hour for salvation because he will have already dismissed you. - - - Updated - - - God tells us what a Christian is supposed to be like. You can evaluate anyone's actions and see if they fall in line with what God commanded. They either do or they don't, there is no judgment required. - - - Updated - - - Hilarious for you now but probably not once you pass on.
According to what you told me in another post, it doesn't matter in the 1st or 11th hour. God's plan has our fate sealed before we were born.
hang on a minute .... you yourself announced that many are not true Christians. and they probably say the same about you. once again ... WHO IS CORRECT? both? you completely failed to answer the question. thanks for the double down on the hell threat. bonus luffs
Actually the Bible creation story is quite specific as to details. Maybe you should open your Bible again.
