    https://theweek.com/articles/944603/clock-ticking-republicans-senate-advantage

While the article above focused on the Senate to make the point above the BIG PICTURE is that the GOP is LOSING the younger generations.

The non-college white electorate is shrinking by 2.3% from where it was in 2016 to 2020 which is a NET LOSS of 1.2 million voters in that bloc alone.

That is the CORE support for the GOP and it will continue to DECLINE as the Boomer generation reaches their Sell By dates.

The Millennials, Gen-X'ers and Gen-Z's are NOT joining the GOP because NONE of the factors, like good jobs, families and acquiring wealth are happening for them.

The REASON for that NOT happening originates with the GOP Fiscal Malfeasance Policies enacted for the BENEFIT of the Wall Street Casino Banksters and the Wealthy Elite 1%.

The Income INEQUALITY divide is the RESULT of those GOP nefarious policies and when they SLAMMED the Country Club DOORS in the FACES of those aspiring generations, leaving them BURDENED with both personal and a NATIONAL DEBT, they are not going to listen to pandering drivel about "making America great" because for them the DREAM has become their daily NIGHTMARE of struggling to make ends meet.

This is a SELF INFLICTED problem for the GOP that has been in the making for DECADES now.

Which brings me to the QUESTIONS that can only be ANSWERED by those on the right. Please note that the BUNKUM about youth being liberal and becoming conservative with age is negated in the article as having virtually zero factual basis. That is NOT going to happen in sufficient numbers to overcome a 30% electorate DEFICIT for the GOP.

What CHANGES will REVERSE this political trend AWAY from the GOP?

How would YOU go about attracting those generations to JOIN the GOP?

What POLICIES would you advocate that will convince them to support the GOP and their candidates in the FUTURE?

Bizarrely enough you are actually correct!

REMAINING on the EXACT SAME iniquitous GOP policy track WILL result in us becoming another Venezuela.

Their popular UPRISING was AGAINST their Wealthy Elite 1% keeping all of the PROFITS and screwing over the rest of the nation.

What we saw in 2018 and now again in 2020 is the REJECTING of those GOP policies.

Since you have identified your PROBLEM what SOLUTIONS do you have to AVOID a revolution?

Answer MY question. What would it benefit America to have nothing BUT radical Left Democrats in 100 percent control?

smart people don't lean left because of education, it's much more than that

that is exactly what the right wants, that is why they lowered the vote for SC judges to pack the courts

if that happened, the left would split in two, and we would have two new parties, but were no where close to that

Really? I have to say the OP is quite upbeat considering we are on the cusp of a conservative majority SCOTUS.

You’re right about the importance of the educational system but wrong in your partisan spin of it.
If you want to build a good foundation for the future of our country, education is one of the bases.
Ignorant people become stupid people who are more susceptible to lies and demagoguery.

Oh gee, Jeff Bezos whose blatant ruthless exploitation of his labor force, whose rip off of the US postal office and whose abuse of the country's infrastructure is legendary does not want Trump's second term.

Now I am converted, I am on team Blue and voting Biden now, because helping Bezos, other billionaires and mega-corps to rip off americans is and has always been my highest priority.

    Duh LOL

I'm assuming there is data somewhere for voting behaviour changes relative to age. Today's 70 year olds were in their 30s when Reagan was President and hit adulthood during the upheaval of the late 60s/early 70s. I'd be curious to see how their political orientation has shifted over 40-50 years. I don't assume that will apply exactly to current 18-40 year olds, but it might give some idea.

The OP questions relate to the GOP's POLICIES and how to change them to attract the younger members of the electorate.

Let's look at the DP and how they ADAPTED their policies AFTER losing power during the 1990's.

The Dems at that point in time erroneously concluded that they were LOSING because the electorate had shifted to the right so powers-that-be in the party chose to alter their policies to appeal to a right leaning electorate. Instead of regaining power the Dems just became the GOP-Lite and ended losing even more support. The Dems then doubled down and embraced the same fiscal sell-out policies which enabled them to claw back a little bit of power.

Ultimately it took Bernie Sanders to expose the flaws in the Dem Party platform and put them back on track to actually representing the People instead of the Wall Street Casino Banksters. That is WHY the current policy contains so many of his ideas.

Yes, it remains to be seen as to whether or not the Dems will HONOR those policies but it is abundantly CLEAR that We the People are REJECTING the failed policies that have resulted in our current dire predicament.

The Dems have changed their policies and won in 2018 and are on track to win again next month.

The OP is about what policy changes should the GOP adopt in order to appeal to the electorate so that they can regain the power that they are currently LOSING to the Dems?

That’s funny, because as it stands there are more people who identify as Republican than those who identify as democrat.

This might give you some indication but it does not factor in the current economic income disparity that was/is a primary motivation in 2018/2020.
