How will wariness of crowds, due to this extraordinary circumstance of perceived threat from Coronavirus, affect turnout on Super Tuesday? And, will the pundits take this into consideration when assessing if there is any meat to the Sanders case for electability ( being able to maximize turnout )?

Currently I think it is unlikely to have any impact unless a lot more cases show up in Super Tuesday states in the next couple days. That is a small window that while possible, seems unlikely at this point. It is far more likely to have an impact on later states, where if it happens to spread as it has done in Europe, we may see a swing towards historically low in person turnouts and perhaps historically high absentee ballots being cast.

As to what pundits will make of it, if it spreads with any real prevalence, its impacts on turnout will be impossible to ignore in later states.

Oh Yeah! We can call it the Trump virus. It's sure to suppress voter turn out. Did it come from a vial out of Wuhan Province and smuggled into the USA to help Trump get re-elected? Damn Chinese.

It is interesting that the CORONAvirus rose up during Trump's impeachment trial, in which Rep. Adam Schiff focused on the idea that Trump was behaving like a KING, to whom no rules applied.

I think it may benefit Sanders as his voters are younger. Biden is like by a lot of seniors and they seem to be more concerned about the virus than the young.

The only link I can find between Super Tuesday and Coronavirus fears is in California. Their politicians terrified a lot of citizens with extreme political rhetoric about the virus, and now election officials are trying to reassure them that it's okay to come out and vote.

More likely Democrats already knew they'd have low turnout because of the weak field, now they have an excuse that they manufactured. The fearmongering will hurt Creepy Joe the most. He's unproven with a bad track record. The same shills that are supposed to vote Biden because the DNC told them too are same folks who will stay home, because they believe the DNC fearmongering...
