Yes,today the Truth is not easy to find.In fact,it is most often very difficult and hard to approach. But then think back to all the difficulties during the Inquistion and also what Martin Luther faced.Besides his affliction or tendency to pass gas { Fart ! } not under his control.
I would like to find one of these nearby. Im curious though, why do you consider 'not political' a good thing?
Because it used to be against the law . Trump signs order seeking to allow churches to engage in more political activity President Trump signed a controversial executive order on May 4 that the White House says "promotes free speech and religious liberty." https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...0e4656c22aa_story.html?utm_term=.098267f65e79
Found it I see ... your Cowboy Church thread. I think all should tune in, to the NFL Church now, because the Dallas Cowboys are playing against the Eagles. I don't particularly like or hate either team. Dallas needs the win whereas Philly is on a long roll.
It was only ever against the law for 501c3 churches, which IMO are to be avoided at all costs as they're just money-making institutions for fake preachers. There are churches that are not tax exempt because money isnt their priority. In fact, that is the primary reason I would seek out a 'cowboy church', as it seems to me that (iiuc) no building, no 'professional' preacher, no judging, no pomp/circumstance would be the type of place to find REAL Christians congregating for actual worship, study and discussion instead of the seeking social cliques and a feeling of absolution for the weeks sins that propel sunday warriors to pay charlatons to tell them what God wants.
