They had a heyday in the 50s. Since the AFL-NFL merger, and especially since the 90s, they've been terrible much of the time. I think they need to revamp from the top down and probably time for William Clay Ford, Sr to either step aside for a younger generation or sell the team outright. I'd love to see the Lions be much more competitive. Of the three other teams in the NFC North, I'd rather see the Lions win the division if the Packers don't. Sure it'd make me dislike the Lions more if they're more competitive, but rivalries in sports are fun.
Yeah I agree about the owners . It seems like they have a lot of good offensive weapons but poorly manage them .
They do seem to have some good weapons on both sides of the ball. I still think Suh should be kicked out of the NFL though.
The suh hate outside of Detroit is strong . We love him though , but as a packers fan I can see why you hate him .
I've heard some people who aren't even in our division say they don't like Suh because he's a dirty player. Honestly, if Goodell had half the balls he seemed to when he came in as commissioner, Suh would be sidelined. Honestly, I'm surprised he's not one of Rosenhaus's boys. Rosenhaus is slimy to me.
I think people overblow a couple of in incidents . I would rather see the women beaters get the boot.
My opinion is that anyone who got convicted of a felony in a court of law should be barred from playing professional sports.
