Why should their be a 2% tariff on EU cars in America and a 10% on American cars in the EU?
If we were to mirror this, then German auto manufacturers and Land Rover will go under, why can't you recognise the EU are wrong to seek being exempt with such harsh tariffs in place?

The EU has a 73.7% steel tariff vs China. Can't promise it is applied to American steel.

But they have way more tariffs vs America than America has them. And a trade surplus.
Not in a good bargaining position. Trump has them by the balls.


Next year, the arguments Trump is making, we will be making.
It is to our advantage that the EU loses this one. That the principle has been conceded before our own re-negotiation begins.
