I know this comes from Canadian Free Press, but it makes a whole lot of sense! If we don't have candidates who share our values, we simply won't vote for them – or the opposition.

The Republican establishment needs to deal with reality: The grassroots feels betrayed and doesn’t trust GOP leaders

I can't respect any party that distances itself from its core beliefs for political pandering. You gotta stand for somethin' or you'll fall for anything. Most people respect a party more that sticks to its beliefs no matter which way the winds blow that day. Because in the end, people want to know who they are electing. A party that changes direction daily is a party to stay away from.

Never said it wasn't. But it's way more on the right than the left.

We're being lied to and misrepresented by both parties, there's a reason why the approval rating for both parties in Congress is so dismal. Outside of the ideologues who will vote for their party no matter what, the rest of us are forced to choose between 2 bad options. Been that way for most of the past 40 years that I've been voting.

The GOP is welcome to be a "far right" party, as long as they understand that the USA is to the left of them as a country compared to them.

    Republicans are not conservatives.

We as a nation are possessed by the political idiot-ology of two corporate owned parties that deal with extreme idiocies, to divide and conquer playing on the bigotry and emotional dysfunction of useful idiots.

Show me a candidate that deals with issues honestly, utilizing logic and common sense to solve problems and address the 'real' issues government should be dealing with, without the demagoguery tactics, and I'll show you a candidate that couldn't get elected dog catcher in most of the country.

Yes they present themselves as the problem solvers before they are elected, and become the problem afterwards. Then just try and get rid of them once they have become their parties dutiful darlings.
