And yet, that information was given to CNN. There exists NO information that can be given to a news station, that can't be given to the commander by those in official positions. Period, end of story. I would have fired Comey on the 27th, scheduled a news conference on the 28th announcing his insubordination and unfitness for office, and to confirm a new director immediately.

OK, when you said 'you people' elected Trump it confused me.

Didn't Barry say it would be impossible for a foreign power to decide an election? Whatever, pretty sure normal Americans not infected with TDS are way more concerned and happy about the best economy in their lifetime.

You are sorely misinformed about Russia, just like every other topic I have discussed with you. Its incredible that this is nearly universally the case when discussing with right wingers. The only reason I ever do engage people of such perspectives, is to let people know that they aren't crazy for viewing the Right with extreme skepticism right now.

If only the left were concerned about Russia when it mattered, during the Cold War. Instead, many were agents of the USSR (see the Verona Papers) and two were even executed for treason. Today, Russia is a declining power much less of a threat than during Gulag days.

Oh do tell me why I should be scared of the nonexistent Russian Empire lol. Now had you said the Chinese Empire, you might've gotten my attention. It's not the US's fault that the UK is insolvent.

You've been filled with right wing propaganda every day since it began I'm sure, I will wait to see what the investigation reveals rather than try to stop it as Trump supporters are. Why make bets if you are so certain?

Russia has modernized their arsenal across the board over the last decade, and may be expanding territorially. They already have annexed Crimea after invading it, and tried to take control of Eastern Ukraine but that was prevented and threatens the Balkans where millions of ethnic Russians live and where key ports are. Putin wants to expand and use military strength to rebuild the Russian Empire into Europe, and this is already going on and he is attempting to divide alliances in order to make NATO and the EU weaker with complex diverse means. He is not a trustworthy actor, he needs to be countered not befriended.

Thank goodness a hot war was never incited as the Right wanted with the USSR. I am not a Marxist-Leninist, so those folks can own that one.

Bush destroyed subpoened emails? Tell us more....

Millions of Bush administration e-mails recovered

The e-mails date from 2003 to 2005, and had been "mislabeled and effectively lost," according to the National Security Archive, a research group based at George Washington University.

Its only a train wreck because CNN tells you it is. Your statement alone speaks volumes. It really isn't your fault. You are so angry about an election and you have made the decision that Trump is nothing less than Hitler and nothing he will ever do could have any positive effect. You need to realize that nobody is going to follow you down this road.

If the left doesn't stop the hate talk about Trump, how are they going to win over needed votes for Dem candidates in the future. If you will admit the good, you can start to negotiate what you think needs change and elect Democrats that support your agenda.

Who am I appeasing? It's simply the fact that if Russia rules eurasia, so be it. American men and women shouldn't die because Europeans are freaking cowards(and yet, always seem to be in conflict..) If we do get in the conflict, maybe this time Trump's right: Take some territorial spoils. A larger US Empire might detract from further conflict.

1st off, I hate to be the one who tells you this, Collusion isn't a crime. 2nd, If Muller had anything on Trump it would be splashed all over the media as unconfirmed sources say blah blah blah. 3rd, Muller stated he wasn't going to give his results about the investigation until after the midterms. Thats should give you some insight as to what he is going to say.

You can bet your butt if Muller had information showing Trump committed a crime he would have indictments faster than you could change a channel.

You are doing nothing but ginning yourself up for another loss dude. Let it go, It ain't gonna happen and until you win an election Trump is going to be your president. You don't like Trump. I get it but these conspiracy theories are never going to pan out even if by some huge miracle Dems win in the midterms.

That Trump has Russian connections is well known and documented. It's a case of follow the money. What Putin has on Trump is another matter of intense interest to Mueller at.al. Manafort is a key witness to the goings on between Mother Russia and Trump & Company. Follow the money. That terrifies Trump.

A particularly juicy tidbit that many have seemed to miss is that Manafort plead guilty to "crimes against America." Guys used to swing from the yardarm for that one. Tie Trump into that and it's game over. The DOJ grab of Manafort's multimillion bucks worth of property goes a long way to paying for the Mueller investigation. Manafort will sing high soprano to Mueller before he goes down for a life sentence in a very uncomfortable federal prison.

What worries me and keeps the Pentagon up at night is, Who's side is Trump on? After trashing NATO as irrelevant and badmouthing our European allies, will Trump lift a finger to keep Putin out of the Balkans? Putin's intentions have been clear, restore the USSR. Putin has stated publicly that the greatest disaster of the 20th Century was the dissolution of the Soviet Union. He wants it back and figures Trump is the guy to give it to him. He wants Trump in the white House so he can pull the strings. He hated Obama and Hilary because they wouldn't be manipulated.

This is the real danger of having a clueless, easily manipulated, weak and dirty little man in the White House. You never know where his loyalties lie.

Exactly. I'm not happy that inbred throwbacks oppress millions in Muslim lands, that's their problem.

Yes. You may want to read the entire story. It’s very ironic...

    1. They used a PRIVATE email server
    2. They said they “lost” the emails. They were recovered, but why did they need to be “recovered” ? (They tried to destroy them...)

What kind of indictments are you looking for. So far, Nothing they have come up with has anything to do with Trump, collusion, or Russia. Its been nothing but an investigation in search of a crime.

Not really, he plead guilty to Conspiracy against the Untied States.

Conspiracy against the United States has nothing to do with foreign actors influencing an election. It certainly has nothing to do with treason, which would require the US and Russia to be actively at war with each other.

The statute, rather, is an extension of the ordinary crime of conspiracy: planning with someone else to do a crime. Basically, Manafort has admitted to conspiring to commit offenses against and to defraud the US government, specifically the Justice Department and Treasury Department. According to his plea deal, the offenses against the government include money laundering, tax fraud, failure to file foreign bank account reports, violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, and lying to the Department of Justice.

Sorry man, No collusion here. Thats already determined in his plea deal.

Nah, Don't think so. Take military spending: Trump sought to add $1.4 billion for fiscal year 2018 to the European Deterrence Initiative — a military effort to deter Russian aggression that was initially known as the European Reassurance Initiative. That's a 41 percent increase from the last year of the Obama administration. The president also agreed to send lethal weapons to Ukraine — a step that Obama resisted. And Trump gave U.S. forces in Syria more leeway to engage with Russian troops.

Trump loosened rules of engagement which resulted in direct military clashes with Russian militants and mercenaries on the ground, actually resulting in in hundreds of Russian casualties. He also expel 60 Russians — diplomats and suspected intelligence agents — in retaliation for the suspected poisoning of an ex-spy in Britain.

    His stance is pretty clear
