No...not a Trump supporter. Our system is far from perfect, but beats whatever is second best by a long shot. I believe we may improve through reform, not revolution.

The most serious crime is conspiracy. That’s not insurrection. Why is this so hard for you to understand?

The crime of insurrexction does not have to specifically include anything you said. You assume it does. It does not. The evidence of insurrection in this specific case would be proven by the acts of trespass, property damage (vandalism), acts of physical violence and assault and battery, failure to abide by directions issued by the police and officials inside the white house. No one had to make a fire, carry a gun nor does there have to me massive death.

There was gunfire and a tragic death not that you noticed.

It does not require any imagination. In this day and age the media recorded it.

More importanly the world by media saw your then President and Rudolph Guiliani incite people to engage in this behaviour and make a mockery of your symbols of democracy and the very notion of democracy.

We would have expected what Trump did from Hitler and brownshits, not Americans.

These individuals who engaged in this behaviour insulted the very symbols of your country and the fundamental principles of which it stands for.

I do not care how correct you think they or Trump are, it was wrong. It was as wrong as if Black Lives Matter had done it.

Had it been a leftist group wanting Trump removed from office you would be the first calling for their arrest and being accused of being unpatriotic terrors.

Trump engaged in the very tactics Hitler did to incite his brownshirts into the streets to burn books, smash windows, burn down houses of worship, beat people to a pulp.

It was a miracle others were not killed or seriously injured.

Your country is far better than this sordid act. Pence showed that as did the Republicans who spoke out against it like Mitt Romney.

The Republican part for the sake of everything it stands for must cleanse itself of this element. Its not Republicanism. Its extreme jingoism, facism, cult worshop of an individual, call it what you want but it has nothing to do with the values of the Republican party. It makes a mockery of Lincoln, Eisenhower.

The greatest of the US is its freedom of speech. That great gift can be perverted or seriously compromised if the people who choose to enhoy that greatest of gifts turn to violence.

How many soldiers died so you would have that gift of freedom of speech. You think they died so you could engage in the very behaviour they helped free the world from in WW2 and fight against terrorism for?

Just about all traditions, norms, elections, Senate rules, and proposing court packing.

Not something the left is fond of; thus, why they want to change everything.

You do understand don't you that democracy means majority rule with minority rights? Give people the right to vote and they're going to be very angry if you try and take that back.

Well, that is why we are not a democracy but a republic because democracies always fail but the left want's this to be a central control democracy by simple majority rule.

Democrats agenda. Defund the police, push critical race theory, and anti voter ID laws.

We're a democratic republic, with representative government. You shouldn't try and discusss something you know nothing about. Research first, then argue.

What democrats are fighting for is simple majority rule which is also democracy.

There is no majority in the Democratic Party for either defunding the police or teaching CRT in K-12 or anti-voter ID laws. Voter ID requirements use to be objected to by Libertarians. So try and get it straight...do you want voter ID's or not?

The question is do you want secure elections or not? Democrats are obviously fighting that.

There are specific super-majorities called for in the Constitution. The filibuster isn't one of them, which would undoubtedly be held unconstitutional if challenged. But, the Courts will leave it up to the Senate itself. If the Senate had the courage, they'd throw out the rule themselves. No rule should be allowed that runs contrary to the Constitution itself, which calls for a simple majority unless otherwise stated.

We have secure elections. No election will be perfect. But the majority agree that the margin of error wouldn't change the result. Trump lost. Get over it.

Yet you cannot prove we have secure elections.

Don't have to...the burden of proof rests with the challenger. There are legal processes for those challenges and they've been used and rejected.

So why do democrats continue to fight any real audits of the election? What are they trying to hide?

The audits are finished. The vote has been certified by Congress. The election is over.

The election has been certified...by State officials and the U.S. Congress. It's over. How are you going to change the result?

Incorrect certifications can be rescinded by the state.
