Fringe candidates don't take 25% of the vote in the Republican primary.
If you think he's a fringe candidate maybe you should be wearing the tin foil hat.

Ronald Reagan's son has recently said "Ron Paul might be the nominee" after trashing him for the last week months. He's also said "Ron Paul hasn't come to the issues, the issues have come to Ron Paul."

    You're fringe.

    Poor ole Jason Bourne.

The better Ron Paul does, the more frustrated he gets.

    Poor, poor JB.

    Clear 2nd in NH.

Is the latter better then the other...yes or no?

Now let's see if JB can do simple math?

That was a horrible speech. When Paul started up with the "dangerous" nonsense he really reached for the tin foil. if that man wants to be president one day, he'd better sober up quick.

And where the hell are these candidates' handlers? There's been a bad case of foot in mouth disease infecting the Republican camp lately...:disbelief:

If you're asking me if I'm an Obama supporter, the answer is an unequivocal NO...

I agree with you, especially when it comes to the Obama Status Quo, but Paul has to do a better job of fending off the impression/appearance that he's a lunatic fringe wacko. That rhetoric might play well within his own camp, but it doesn't play well outside of it. If Paul doesn't realize that, his staffers and backers had better figure it out for him quick...

I like this Jason guy..sounds pretty reasonable to me.

If this was a NBA playoffs Paul would be down 2-0 no matter what the score.
Wait how many delegates does he have ?

Compared to That Romney guy nobody likes..

    In states that dont matter.
How did Romney get those delegates ?

    I KNOW ...
    ( a big..long ..drum rroll......)

    BLAME OBAMA !! :)

Watching the GOP eat itself up is the fitting end to their own dysfunctional platform. Paul is a Libertarian, not a Republican. I don't know what the hell Mitt is, he has changed so often. This is a fight for the new GOP. what it believes and what it stands for. Pandering to the lowest common denominator (tea party sheep and bigots) the GOP has gotten itself into a bind, an honest libertarian or an old school uber-capitalist. With Paul there is no turning back, the Articles of Confederation will be the New Constitution

    Romney = status quo

Ron Paul is a danger to Romney's bid

Ron Paul stated that he was a danger to the status quo. How is it that you perceived that as lunacy, fringe or wacky?

Now, Ron Paul was merely asking the question, do you believe America needs to remain the same course as the last 12 years, or should we abandon the status quo?

You seem to be the only one that had that impression, so maybe it's just you. He said he's dangerous against the status quo, and at a time when Congress has an 8% approval rating, that's hardly an unpopular position.

More and more people are realizing that the real kooks are the establishment types whose minds are entombed by their conventional wisdom and "mainstream" policies that have destroyed our economy and gutted our civil liberties.

It would be nice if instead of expending your energy bashing Ron Paul, you allocated a sliver of it to promoting Romney or some other candidate you claim to like. But then you'd be in the position of defending all their rotten, anti-liberty policies.

He said more than that, freakonature.

Who, precisely, is this nefarious "they" who allegedly finds Paul and his supporters "dangerous"?

    Think about it.

Like I said, that rhetoric might play well inside the Paul camp, but it's not going to fly outside of it. Perhaps, Paul should stop thinking of himself as a fringe candidate and start acting and speaking like one that is more mainstream...

Heck, I'm not even the only one in my household who got that impression, so it's not just me.

I'm not a Paul hater, AV - there's a lot I agree with him about, but I can tell you that he's going to get creamed if he doesn't stop barking like a paranoid lunatic fringe moonbat...
