Sounds to me like you just have a fondness for "red herring.", You saw my red herring and raised it two red herring. If a worker has "ownership" he must take the risk of "entrepenuer". I wouldn't start a business and share ownership with anyone that would not share in the risk. Your red herring smacks of Communism.

LOL. I suggest you study worker habits and productivity in the Soviet Union.

Nope, so your comments are such a shame.

Basic error. The entrepreneur doesn't translate into the owner.

Shame you went for drivel. I've referred to the importance of entrepreneurial spirit. I've coupled that with the importance of defending property rights.

Perhaps you don't understand capitalism, socialism and communism?

I'm not a bee, I'm a man. And despite Z-4195's decision to the contrary, volunteering to be a slave doesn't make you any less an ant, bee, or slave.

To those who think the individual's purpose in life is to serve the community, the people, the party, the nation, the state, the collective, society, you have my contempt and pity, but never my tolerance nor forgiveness.

Please explain how the worker "inherits" ownership without risk in that ownership? Please....no more leftist drivel.

"When you think of it, it doesn't take a lot of brains to be a socialist. All it requires is the desire to have something that doesn't belong to you and the absence of character to justify the use of force to get it on your behalf." -- Lawrence W. Reed

The entrepreneur risks. The owner doesn't. They rely on profit by exploiting a lack of property rights (i.e. wage underpayment).

Isn't it a shame that sensible economics tends to lead to left wing result?

The business owner takes nothing from the workers she hires.

And yet provides them a way to earn a living, and for that the business owner is hated, vilified, and despised; when what the owner has earned is admiration and respect, and a thank you. Thank you, Mr. American Business Man, you have made my life, heaven on earth. Job well done, please don't stop.

Because "inherit" is much nicer word than "violently steals the property of"?

Even a 100% free-market libertarian should have no issue with worker-owned companies, as long as everything is done voluntarily.

Socialists, however, never fully explain how worker-owned companies would come about. I think that avoidance is very telling.

You have already made the erroneous assertion that the value of a workers labor is property. This, of course, is completely bogus.

No understanding of economics, right wing grunt. Plenty of evidence on this thread!

Ha ha .. I'm probably the closest thing to an actual Commie in this entire place, well done! The limits of experience/knowledge of alternative economic models (as in, limited to State Socialism and the Western Democratic Capitalist model vs the archaic Eastern Bloc trope) prevent you from engaging meaningfully.

That's politics though. Socialism must be voluntary, or it isn't Socialism.
