There are statues of the North war fighters in the South also. I would not support removing any statue in the South. I believe the Democrats perhaps show shame. But to me they want to hide their own excellent Generals.

No, Democrats only want you fooled. Because you shout from the roof how wonderful you are, how mighty your cause is, does not mean you are truthful. Adolf Hitler being a fine example.

We Republicans carefully explain why you need fewer restrictions, fewer laws and lower taxes, what we hear about this from Democrats is what poopoo birds we are. We are treated as if we hate this nation. But look who we fight? We fight democrats.

You can go years and not read that Democrats admit there are stupid blacks.

The party of rednecks has long been the Democrats.

Yes in the Battlefield National Parks, and they were fighting to force the Southern Slaves states BACK into the Union to force them to remain in the United States along with the Union slaves states.

To my way of thinking, those civil war battle site parks are a marvel. It must be extremely expensive to maintain the grounds. I have my membership to all national parks and can't recall if they charge to be on the war sites. My membership gets me in to any of them for free.

Still, the war in my opinion and that of millions of others is poorly taught in history. We are led to false conclusions. Why our educational system gets it wrong amazes me.

What is ignored in history!!! How often do you read that the citizens of the South voted to stay or leave the union? In general we are led to believe that rogues in S. Carolina by hitting the walls of a stout fort was good enough for abe to claim his forces got shot at. Hell, those cannons were simply not very effective. The fort had better cannons. Who has learned of the massive damage done to the South by Anderson's larger cannons? Gee, the yankee sympathy does not mention that, do they?

Who knows about the role of the Mississippi River and it's ports in the conflict? I mean prior to war.

Exactly. It's the Democrats who defended slavery, opposed the civil rights legislation at a higher percentage than Republicans, and now is the party of identity politics which claims that those groups cannot succeed without the intervention of the Democratic Party.

The Republicans are right about the same thing that Martin Luther King dreamed about:

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin but by the content of their character."

"I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed - we hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal."

In other words all US citizens will be treated equally. This is completely aligned with the Republican Party and completely opposed to the identity politics of the Democratic Party.

There is no way that today's Democrats would vote for Lincoln.

The black President was wrong and the black woman is correct. It's interesting how the brain on identity politics becomes irrational and treats everything based on group identity - in this case race. It is inconceivable to them that if someone claims that one member of a group is wrong that that same person can claim that another member of that group is correct. In their world if one member is claimed wrong it means that all members is claimed wrong. Bizarre.

Lol so long as you're white, wealthy, don't like science and reality and base your life in a 2000 year old fairy tale.

Sad that the left rejects MLK’s dream. Instead we see the racism exhibited in the above post.

Ah, so Democrats are really still the party of Southern Conservatives, states’ rights, small government, and traditional morality? That’s what you are claiming?

Worthless video. "The democrats of the 1800s were racists. Therefore, modern republicans are not." Dumb.

You don’t recognize real racism when you actually write a post full of racism. That’s hilarious.

No, I think the old South should keep all confederate statues and erect one of Roy (I like ‘em young) Moore too. Child molesting Is as southern as fried chicken and peach cobbler. Ty Cobb’s father married a 10 year old and he was a state assemblyman and a Deacon in the church. It’s all about tradition in my book.

The Democrat platform of today is based on racism. That’s identity politics where groups of different races are treated differently. That’s what racism is.

That’s the most absurd post I’ve seen in months. But that’s how the party of identity politics (aka racism) rolls.
