The January 6 Committee pre-game show: 187 minutes of inaction

Just a reminder that, if you want to participate in an INFORMED debate about today's hearing, you need to watch it. It's at 8 p.m. Eastern. I don't know what channels, but not Fox News.

It will be about those 187 minutes in which insurrectionists took over the Capitol, and Trump did... apparently NOTHING, to stop them. He did nothing to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States from domestic enemies (Hint for those who don't know what that is: it's the document that includes the 2nd Amendment)

I am truly hoping that tomorrow's response to the summary I usually provide, will be an informed one.

 

I'm sure that the Fake News will be covering every minutes of every day of this.

They need it. So do the Rhino's like Liz Channey. To help justify her re-election, which she won't win.

It is more than obvious that he neglected to defend the constitution on 1/6. Even Mitch McConnell said so at the time. I’m not sure why we need to keep jumping through all these hoops to prove what is already well known.

 

Sidney Powell literally said **under OATH** that she lied about widespread election fraud. Anybody that still believes it's true is struggling with accepting facts or they want their deity to be above the laws and Constitution of our country.

Either way, it's some kind of cognitive disconnect coupled with historical revisionism and neither of those add up to anything pro-America.

 

Well, truthfully, anyone still claiming the almighty deity sits before god is just trolling. They all know what he is, but can’t admit it publicly. They prefer him to everyone, including actual stable republicans.

 

I honestly don't care who/what they worship. I have a serious issue with them bullying and trying to gaslight people for not believing their BS, though.

They have nothing, they know they have nothing and are just ranting and raving like toddlers. It’s embarrassing to watch; seeing adults worship a con artist has been fascinating, though. It’s like a group delusion. For me, it’s similar to the dancing plague that happened in the 1500s.

 

Why does it take an hour and multiple witnesses to describe something which did not happen for 187 minutes?

This is a last desperate effort by the democrats to generate interest in January sixth.

He did NOT. He ignored Pence, Pelosi, Ivana, Meadows and Trump Jr's pleas to engage back-up. He did NOTHING to get them help.

 

Generally the US Military does not participate in law enforcement against US Citizens.

 

Because way too many deniers are claiming he was really busy helping for those 187 minutes. Ps. I miss your mad, wet cat.

 

Except, of course, for The National Guard.

 

When the national guard is mobilized in support of the federal government, there is no such exception.

 

That does not answer the question. I just happen to be listening to it on MSNBC and it could easily be done in five minutes or less.

 

He took an oath and refused to keep it. He refused to defend our country.

 

For the sane, yes. For those who can’t discern reality from fiction when it comes to Trump, nauseating levels of repetition are required. It’s sort of how we teach autistic people. Volumes upon volumes of redundant information coming from multitudes of sources.

 

Can you point out where it says the national guard cannot be used to keep the peace?

 

In one instance, you say those who favor Trump are insane and then in the next instance, you think they will discern reality from friction by watching "nauseating levels of repetition". You need to refine your argument a bit.

the best one can figure he tweeted 105 minutes after the crowd even started to confront the police... and some claim they can shave that down to about 25 minutes from when antifa started busting out windows and entering the capitol..

It they are called up by the federal government, they are part of the US military. In that case the Posse Comitatus Act, applies. They can direct traffic and other such duties, but cannot take up arms against US Citizens. There are exceptions, but generally require martial law to be declared.

The cigar and blue dresses was not covered nearly continuously for over two years. Clinton was impeached and that was the end of it. There was no investigation after that.

 

The equally evil vapid lesbian porn model must be a true Trump. She lies and blames other people. The aide released that information last year and she had nothing to say about it then. Why bother now especially when her lies are transparent? Unless she's claiming she was in North Korea at the time, everyone else on the planet saw what was happening. /smdh
