His trade war, and his attacks on opioids, abortion, a free press, a sound financial policy, and property rights are perilous to the rights and freedoms of the individual.

How so? Do you believe that opioids should be freely distributed by doctors who profit from the pharmaceutical companies? You do know people are dying from overuse from such drugs. China and South America drug cartels are making massive amounts of money off opioid's.

Allowing other countries, to subsidize their industries and undercut our own, destroys jobs and industries.

Amazing that a party that preaches "compassion for others" is so pro-death. Contraceptives prevent the creation of life, abortion terminates life, welfare dependence crushes the spirit of life and euthanasia of the sick is the murder of all hope for life.

Trump may talk a loud game against the press but he has never done some of the things other past presidents have. John Adams, signed into law the 1798 Sedition Act, which made publishing anything critical of the government illegal and imprison journalists who openly spoke against the government. Theodore Roosevelt sued newspapers for their coverage of the purchase of the Panama Canal rights. Barack Obama excluded reporters like Chris Wallace and others from Fox News from the White House and even used the FBI and IRS against James Risen. Others like Lincoln, Wilson, Eisenhower, Nixon, Clinton all had contentious relationships with the press.

A booming economy, low unemployment for all groups, a strong stock market, low interest rates and low inflation does not sound like an unstable financial policy.

What property rights are you worried about?

All drugs legal. It's not the government's business--instead of putting the damaged in jail, he ought to embrace free trade so we can get the best drugs at the cheapest prices; and if necessary, the best care at the cheapest price for addiction treatment. what he ought not to be doing is hunting people down with swat teams, stealing their property, and locking them up in prison. See the difference between liberty and government dictates? One works, the other creates hell on earth.

All abortions legal; women are not God's or societies breeding cattle.

All wealth redistribution banned by a constitutional amendment.

Suicide. Suicide is painless, brings on many changes, and not the government's business--not only that, but its prohibition is stupid; what are you going to do, give them the death penality?

Hope is for fools and small children gazing under the Christmas tree.

And when this economy falls within the year, triggering a worldwide recession. Who will he blame? The Chinese? The greedy capitalist? The Fed? Cause he most certainly won't look in the mirror and say, "Damn! I messed up, royally."

As to property rights, every single from ownership, to control, to trade. The man is a pragmatic fascist nationalist.

I'm an independent, neither liberal nor conservative. An Objectivist, and a radical for individualism and capitalism.

Do you know what the prelude to war is? Blind, nationalistic trade wars.

OK . You Win. If it makes you feel better I'll agree with one of the dumbest posts I've read in a long time.

Nope. Stalin tried desperately to get the allies interested in a binding mutual defense treaty but Roosevelt and Churchill would have none of it. They thought Hitler could wipe out communism for them. In desperation, Stalin made a pact with Hitler to buy time until he could modernize his tank force and air defenses.

You are right that he ignored his advisers about an imminent German attack though. This is a matter of debate among historians as Stalin trusted no one ... so why did he trust Hitler?

Hitler and Stalin are hardly unique in history and there is nothing endemic of democratic socialism to dictatorship - many of the worst of whom have been eagerly supported by the US

Read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, come back in a year. We shall see what hell Trump’s policies have wrought.
