Euro 2012, opening game was controversial and a cracker. Tonight however, Netherlands v Denmark.

Tbh I don't like football much. But the men just get better and better looking.

The ref made a mockery of the Poland/Greece match.
    Denmark upsets the Netherlands, 1-0!
Who would watch a sporting contest based on how good looking the participants?! Oh, did anyone see Maria Sharapova win the French Open? :blowkiss::blowkiss::blowkiss:

But the blond Nordic men are so pretty...:p Give me a break, I am trying to keep my mouth shut because he's been so good this week and deserves peace to watch the game, but it's really pushing the patience of women Europe wide to put football on tv on Saturday night. The number of domestic disturbances will go through the roof.

I liked watching the Germans in the World Cup. However, Germany v Portugal has hardly set the tv on fire. Ronaldo is tricky and good to watch. But his team have gone 1 down.

It was unbelievable how many chances Portugal had, but couldn't put the ball in the back of the net! He was probably "good", 'cause he knew the Euro Cup was coming!

Watching the NBA or NHL is one of the most retarded things one can do unless you have some legitimate reason to want to induce a coma.

    As for actual interesting sports...

I can't believe that both Boston and Philly remain at the bottom of their divisions with a meager 29 wins each. This season is truly backward.

Well, I don't know what fight the judges were watching last night. Pacquiao got robbed in that one. I scored 8 rounds for Pacquiao, how 2 of those judges scored it 115-113 Bradley is beyond me.

On a side note, if Pacquiao fought Mayweather looking like he did against Marquez or Bradley, he'd be taking a whooping from Floyd.

Indeed, he's feigning illness as we speak, for the Rafa Nadal v Djokovic tennis with the Euro Spain v Italy game to follow. I expect him to rally (tennis pun) around 19:00 and relapse at 19:15 for the Irish game.

I guess the division is a bit of a mess now. Are Pacquiao & Mayweather ever gonna meet? Did this Pacquiao loss hinder or help make a Mayweather fight in the future more likely, in your opinion?

I honestly don't know. Mayweather is locked up for the next 2 months so Manny vs. Floyd wasn't going to happen anytime soon, anyways. I'm guessing there will be a rematch with Bradley, but Marquez was in attendance at the post fight press conference, and it was said that Marquez vs. Pacquiao 4 would be taking place had Pacquiao won.

I don't know if the judges threw the fight or they're actually that incompetent, but I'm starting to get fed up with boxing. These types of decision are happening far to often.

Boxing lost me years ago. I have nothing but a passing interest now. I have fond memories of watch boxing with my father(really, the only sport he cared for) on Friday nights & Saturday afternoons. I question all sports(where there is gambling, there's a possibility of monkey business), but I think boxing is very prone to "arrangements".

Nadal tops Djokovic for 7th French Open title! Congrats to Nadal, the dude is nearly unbeatable on clay! I think he lost 1 set during this whole tournament.

I think the Kings better win at home tonight, or they are in huge trouble! Game 7 is in Jersey, if it goes to it.

This time of year is a sports wasteland for me. I used to watch the Cubs but they've broken my heart too many times. I'm basically waiting for football season to start so I can watch DA BEARS surprise everyone this year.

If the Bears can stay healthy, especially Cutler, they should do really well. Probably make the playoffs, but if Cutler gets hurt again, I'd say it's unlikely(playoffs).

    Yep, Stonybrook is legit.

LSU's players before the series started were telling reporters and fans not to write them off. A bunch of LSU and Stonybrook players played together & against each other in the Cape Cod league. LSU's guys kept reminding reporters they were no joke.

And low and behold the Seasolves are Omaha bound! Good luck to whoever has to face that lineup! Those guys hit!

They got a very good shot to win it all.

Someone made a lot of money on Bradley in the fight. The boxers make too much money today but I think that in Vegas at least people have figured out that it is easier to bribe a judge.

I had it 118-100 Pac thats 10 rounds to 2 for those of you who don't know scoring and I could have easily scored it 12-0.

I agree. They were on roll last year before he got hurt. The addition of Marshall will add to our offensive potency.

I'm more interested in what they do defensively. I felt for a while that with the way Briggs and Urlacher play that they would be much better in an under or a 3-4. Right now they are in an over with Briggs at Will which limits him. If Shea McClellin can play a walked up 9 they can switch to an under which cover more down lineman freeing up Urlacher and Briggs and it will move Briggs to the A gap where he is way more effective.

You're obviously entitled to your opinion of course, but if I were a Bear fan, I'd be happy with Cutlers growth. I think the last 2 years he's improved. He led the team to the NFC championship game 2 years ago before he got hurt in that game & didn't play the second half. But that has been the issue the last two seasons, getting hurt. He needs to stay healthy.

If I were a Bears fan, my hope would be that Cutler does not remain healthy, but rather stays hurt for the rest of his life so that the team would move on to a quarterback worth investing in.

In case you haven't noticed, great or even good QB's don't exactly fall outta trees. Teams don't generally give away good/great QB's. The list of teams that draft what they expect to be good/great QB's & are disappointed when they're not, is fairly long. I am a New York Giants fan & very happy with our QB. I think Cutler is one of a group of QB's - like Flacco, Ryan, Shaub, Rivers, Romo, and even Vick, Sanchez & Alex Smith - who have had some success, or put up some decent numbers, but need to take the next step & get there team to the Super Bowl.
I can have an opinion about Cutler, but I am not a Bear fan, so I don't hafta put up him. Any Bear fans out there have an opinion on Cutler?
