According to many libs they can’t. Was videos on YouTube with some dudes asking libs if they knew if Blacks can get voter IDs and drivers license. You would be amazed at the reactions from the modern US white liberal.
Then they asked blacks how hard was it and they said, no problem as all.

Socialism is making a comeback because Republicans say that every socially liberal thing is socialism/communism. And, as the quality of life is going down, and the people want more government services and reforms to social safety nets, they are instead being denied. Again and again. Plus there's the aspect of it being forbidden fruit.

Real socialism/democratic socialism cannot exist. Why? Because socialism is against human nature and people will opt out of it eventually. Real communism is the only way a collectivist movement can maintain itself. That means an authoritarian government to keep tight control of people's lives, iron curtain-like isolation of its people so that they are not the target of outside ideas which would lead to them to become unhappy with their lot in life.

Also, on the economic front, the food and goods of society under communism require that people work to build the things that they use, and historically there ends being a shortfall.

Socialism/communism is also not a competitive system. It's a stagnation that leads to countries who embrace that system to quickly fall behind any competitor nations that follow a competitive system in their economy/private sector.

And who is a socialist in the congress, senate, or executive branch?

And no, Democratic Socialists are not socialists in the traditional sense.

We're not Germany, nor are we socialists.

Democratic Socialism is not traditional socialism. And Germany is a different culture, so the comparison is specious.

    Woooo, hold up there.
The VA is not trash, WTF They take amazing care of me, just finished my chiropractor sessions. took all of 20 minutes to make an appointment, and was seen the same week. 5 sessions. And Im getting a hearing aid, FREE.
Free medical saves me about 200 a week compared to the companies garbage plans.

Considering veteran suicide is at an all-time high, I’d say the VA isn’t doing too well. And please, the VA is a giant run-around for most. File a claim… hear back 2 years later.

They did hound me about suicidal thoughts for some reason.. I was like NO, Im not suicidal. Got a little irritating.
The person making an appointment, the nurse, the doctor, the follow up...even got a thing in the mail about suicide prevention.
    Guess that explains that.

But hows that the VA's fault, I don't understand the connection.

My cousin has garbo insurance, and gets straight denied..So I guess waiting's better then denial for most.

The truth is, after you separate, the military doesn’t give a damn about you, and that’s just what way it is. You’re a mere number. I don’t regret serving by any means, but I damn sure wouldn’t do it today. Not under a regime like this.

There is a method to doing things. Not only that, they have this thing that if it is going to take along time for a procedure, they will pay for you to see a private doctor.
At least thats what they told me.

I have a 69-year-old Vietnam veteran friend, he is rather liberal.

He seems to be rather unimpressed with the VA services. He spends tons of time on the phone talking with the VA trying to get things done and it's obviously very stressful for him

I'm sure if he could give his opinion here it would be much less than stellar

Why doesn't he use his private insurance, or medicaid?
    Its better then nothing.
Like I was telling southernfried, My cousin gets straight denied with garbo insurance that costs 700 a month..so it could be worse.

I don't know about all the particulars but I know it drives him to drink and it worries me about him.

He wants to be reclusive and me and my girlfriend try our best to get him out of the house to do things

Sounds like an introvert, and he may thrive on isolation. Its how the types get the most done, and are usually content.
Try getting him a game console or a project to work on that complements his hobbies if you want to be more involved.

You are not using the word socialist correctly.
The socialist mentality is everyone clubs together to build roads that everybody can use.
A capitalist wants private roads in a gated community.
