I mean, they didn't even retract the story that Comey testified as being "almost entirely untrue". A little bit of slant is one thing, these people are running a propaganda organization at this point.

 

Apparently, you are not following all the firings and lay offs at the NY Times. They are trash in reputation and size compared to what they used to be. The Conservative exposure of their garbage reporting and tactics has destroyed them.

 

If they've been "destroyed" as you say, then why are they still in business? The fact of the matter is you cannot come up with a plausible excuse to counter my posting because you know that I am right on this issue. Educate us, tell us exactly how many "firings" have taken place at the NYT? Most of the layoffs (which buyouts are being offered before any layoffs take place) are due to changes in technology and combining of departments, but I guess you failed to post that part.

Moreover, they are expanding their online operations and they also expect to hire over 100 new employees once all the buyouts are completed but again you failed to post that. All you tried to do was paint a bleak picture about the future of the NYT and you've once again, failed big time. Finally their online subscriptions have, for the second quarter in a row grown dramatically, It was the second straight quarter of record-breaking subscriber growth, with 276,000 new digital-only subscriptions so I hardly think they've been "destroyed" as you maintain.

The truth is a most bitter pill to swallow at times right?

Et voila. Funny thing is, I think Trump is basically honest - he really wants (what is in his mind) the best for the US. Alas (poor Yorick), Trump is superficial and basically ignorant on all things political.

That last trait might have been a normal step in one's professional evolution, but I can't say that Trump really learns, or if he does, not nearly fast enough. IMO, his mental health is declining, and the stress that the job puts on him won't make it any easier.
