Oh, sure. Political power is violence at its core. But a worker owned business has nothing to do with politics.

On the other hand, if people want to use politics to steal a company and turn it into a worker owned company, well then I consider that a problem.

I know that. But the term "socialism" was bastardized long time ago and today it means "soviets" and "Communism" to the average Joe.

A hangover from McCarthyism perhaps? Time for them to grow up?

Of course, there are always parasitic in all areas, including in the social systems and of course it is these parasites to fight or to improve the systems so that they are best not exist.
But it is beyond any question that a state and a society have social obligations to the weak and those in need, and therefore a good social security system is a must for citizens!
And social is not socialist or communist ... but many Americans have not realized the difference till today!

Good post. The workers work to give some of their earnings to useless eaters whose only 'contribution' to society is to keep churning out effing sprogs every year until they become infertile. Thanks to liberals, the West is a paradise to these parasites.

And their appetite for free **** never ends.
Their belief: eating, ******** and ****ing entitles one to other people's stuff
Children think everyone else should share their stuff with them too.
Let em starve off if that's all they're good for

"Let the scroungers die" is obviously repugnant rhetoric. However, such far right wing attitudes aren't consistent with support of capitalism. Capitalism naturally generates unemployment (direct and indirect through underemployment). Maintaining the "physical efficiency" of the unemployed is critical, else they represent no discipline device on the workers.

Having businesses give the public free **** isn't any more affordable than taxing an equivalent amount and distributing it that way.

    That is an interesting analogy.

But I don't think we are talking about "getting rid" of people who don't work. It is a matter of changing incentives. If it is easier to get a job than a welfare check, maybe that would be good? Likewise, flooding your body with bacteria fertilizer and eliminating the counter incentives like your immune system might be bad.

Lazy eating, crapping, ****ing machines that take up space, oxygen, resources and demand to be sustained are repugnant.

Business owners are not here to provide jobs for humanity. Employment stats are irrelevant.
It is the responsibility of the individual, not the economic system to provide for oneself

"Blame the Poor" is an interesting one. Its of course quite handy for divide and conquer. Rather than threatening the financial elite, there can be inane morality squabbles between the poor and the poorer. There's also a Marxist lumpenproletariat tone to it all. However, in terms of the economics, it isn't cunning! Threatening the reproduction of capitalist profits isn't a good idea, unless of course you're an anti-capitalist.

Certainly lost any chance of a mature debate on these issues. Have a jolly day!

Or... pay the labor market going rate.

Once again... being born and breathing are not enough to guarantee a certain standard of living based on emotions.

I think redistribution helps get people affordable healthcare, retirement, and education and relieves many of the problems of income inequality. But Europeans need to eliminate welfare, immigration from culturally backwards countries, business taxes, lower middle class taxes, and regulations across the board.

I think skill development and work ethic are important, along with ensuring that workers get a large share of economic growth.

Skills and work ethic do that.
Why should I shrink so that someone else can grow.
Is it proper to harm an individual for someone else's benefit?
