Wise up! The companies will pass the cost increase to consumers, they will not sacrifice profit! That's just how it is! So, because of Obamacare, you will pay a little more for airline ticket, you will pay a little more to ship a Xmas gift to your mother, you will pay a little more for your groceries, you will end up paying for everything. That's just how things work in real world.

I will pay a little less when sick or injured people don't stick companies and hospitals and everyone else with their debts because they don't need to do medical bankruptcy.

When city state,and federal programs for medically indigent, medicaid, etc, have less to pay for because people have insurance.

If they could raise prices NOW, THEY WOULD, Obamacare or NO Obamacare! Just because their medical costs go up 1%, that doe NOT mean they would or could raise their fares 1%.

Perhaps you could take note that so many corporations have DRASTICALLY reduced their wages and benefits, yet ALL they have done is RAISE PRICES and RAISE PROFITS and RAISE EXECUTIVE WAGES!!

I agree that a shortage of medical resources is a legitimate concern. When you have a large percentage of citizens without access to medical care for a long period, the system adjusts accordingly - medical professionals aren't going to sit around waiting for nonexistent paying customers, and manufacturers of drugs and equipment need a market that didn't exist before.

A program like this can go into effect a hell of a lot faster than the entire infrastructure can reach equilibrium. It takes about a dozen years from a standing start to create a qualified doctor, and at least six years for a nurse practitioner - assuming there's plenty of idle spare capability to educate them sitting around. Which there isn't. Boosting US medical capability by, say, 25% means adding 25% to the educational capacity. Where do we get the instructors, much less the classrooms?

And what THAT means is that while lots of people who couldn't afford insurance will be insured and be able to afford the insurance, actually delivering the medical care is another story altogether. The medical coverage probably won't reach equilibrium with the insurance coverage for about 15 years. In the meantime, there will be long waits.

As if low information voters only vote for democrats? I've seen people at tea party rallies with anti-Obama signs screaming about how they consider Obamacare a government handout and government should stay out of their healthcare, only to answer "We use medicaid" when asked if they have health insurance. I live in West Virginia. You want to see low information republican voters, come visit sometime. There is a plethora of them here. Some people get insurance through their employer, which are OBAMACARE POLICIES, which means they meet certain MINIMUM levels of benefits, and can add ALL the benefits they want to!

The Obamacare EXCHANGES are intended for people who DO NOT HAVE EMPLOYER INSURANCE and have PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS and/or want to get the payment subsidy because they are LOW INCOME!

And ANYONE can call up an ANY insurance agent from an insurance company and buy a policy DIRECT from the insurance company!

Why is this so hard for the Right to understand? Or are they deliberately lying because they hate Obama? Gee, let's try to guess......
