    No bias at all if the parents are either gender, as long as they are in a stable traditional marriage.

    a child is best being raised by a male/female. if that is not possible then there is nothing wrong with a loving, caring single person adopting a kid. It's better than foster care. A single male will find a female to help with the child be it grandma, aunt(their sis) or even close friend

    a single female would also do the same knowing full well that the child needs the influence of both sexes

    I think that you and I are in complete agreement, that the traditional stable couple should be at the front of the line, and that non-traditional families should be in the line, but behind them.

    Interracial marriage has always been legal in several US states, including many of the original 13. See my previous post in this thread.

    Get up, brush teeth, eat breakfast....garden (making a new wildflower garden today), go to lunch for my partner's birthday, go out and buy a new picture frame, drive to the hospital to work my 8 hour shift, drive home, shower, get my PJ's on, go to bed.

    Oh, no...I let the secret out. Don't tell.

    It seems there are some people, usually from the south, and I'm not sure if you represent this characterization...who are done cracking those bull whips in the mill shacks, and can't segregate away the ugly past anymore....but they've found a new target for intolerance...gays.

    1. I never claimed to have tolerance for gay haters, or bible thumpers.....it's Jesus that espouses unconditional tolerance . I do not.

    2. Sexual orientation is not a choice.

    A good way to think of me is like a modern day John Brown type...only instead of being militant about abolition...it's gays for me, and without all that violence or criminal activity.

    You're still not laughing...you hate gays, and are angry because they want to get married. Is it because the bible tells you so?...or does picturing gay men kissing make you feel all icky, and uncomfortable?

    If YOU can prove that homosexual-orientation is a "choice", that would be world-class BREAKING NEWS!!

    Your 'amusement' matters not. That more and more of us who are homosexuals, have become tired and intolerant of the reprehensible hatred and discrimination.

    I think homosexual people need to be in certain people's faces, even in new and more affective ways.
